寒假安全須知|Safety Notice for Winter Vacation

Dear Students,

In order to ensure your safety during the vacation, please pay attention to the following notices:

1. All international students must comply with Chinese laws and regulations in addition to our university’s policies. Those who violate national laws, ordinances will be given a serious warning and even expelled from shanghai Normal university depending on the seriousness of the case. Of special note are common violations such as illegal working with student visa, expired visas, unruly behavior due to alcohol, and disturbing the peace when staying off campus;

2. In order not to affect others』 study or rest, please do not get together and make noise in the room after 23:00. The university keeps the right to give the relevant students a warning. You are not allowed to accommodate others in your room except your roommate. Once found, you might be disqualified for your on-campus accommodation;

3. Speaking politely in public, comply with public orders, avoid staying out at the bar or other public places too late,and avoid over-drinking. Please pay attention to your own safety, especially for students living off campus. Don't go out late at night. Avoid the crowded public places. Do not take unauthorized travel transportation. Choose your food carefully. Please obey the transportation laws including not driving unauthorized cars or motorcycles, not driving under the influence of alcohol;

4. Please keep an eye on your personal property, such as wallet, cell-phone, and passport. Do not trust the unknown phone call, or do not trust the fraud message or notice about any lottery winning or money transfer.
