The establishment of this lab is based on the Public Health Laboratory Services Institute, Toxicology Institute, Quality and Technology Division, Nutrition and Food Safety Institute, Parasitic Disease Control and Prevention Institute, and Pathogenic Microbiology Institute of GDCDC. It has formed with many distinctive technical features and discipline superiority in the fields of food safety risk monitoring and assessment, health standards developments, and food safety emergency response, accumulated rich practical experience, and been at the advanced level of domestic counterparts.
