曾經的曾經，
在靜謐的貝加爾湖畔，生活著一種巨角麋鹿。
它們體型高大，姿態優雅雄健，
那象徵著榮耀的鹿角，竟然有近4米闊.
神秘的巨角麋鹿最終從人們的視野裡消失不見。
人們就此把它們忘記了嗎？
We love seeing elk
我們喜愛觀賞麋鹿
Elk are majestic creatures
麋鹿是雄壯威嚴的動物
They stir us for some reason
不知為何 他們總令人著迷
There’s something about an elk that is moving
麋鹿的某種特質震撼人心
They are regal animal
它們充滿王者風範
what’s the height of an elk would you guess?
你猜一頭麋鹿大約有多高
I mean, would we say, 5 or 6 feet would be the top of the head maybe
鹿身或許有1米5到2米高
Which is still big right?
這已經很高大了 不是嗎
Rack of antlers maybe a couple of feet above that?
加上鹿角可能再高一點
We might get up to 8 feet

You take a modern-day elk and stand it next to an Irish elk
現在的麋鹿站在愛爾蘭巨角麋鹿旁邊 根本不值一提
The Irish elk
愛爾蘭巨角麋鹿
Is officially classified as extinct
被正式歸為滅絕動物
It’s sort of hard to give an accurate understanding of how big this animal is
所以想要準確描述出它的龐大有些困難
At the top of its brow it’s about 10 feet tall
它身高約3米
On top of its 10-foot-tall head, it had a rack of antlers that spanned 12 feet in width

12 feet that’s bigger than Goliath
近4米 比歌利亞巨人還要高大
Just on top of his head
龐大的鹿角就長在它的頭上
Yet it went up 5 more feet
鹿角有1米5高
15 feet of massiveness!

You were really impressed with the modern-day version, weren’t you?
你竟然曾經感嘆現在麋鹿的高大
Our problem is we』ve lost sight of the Irish elk version of Christianity
問題是我們已經忘記了基督信仰那如同愛爾蘭麋鹿般的雄壯威嚴
We don’t even believe it exists
我們甚至不相信它依然存在
We honestly believe it’s gone extinct
我們確信它已經銷聲匿跡
We don’t go after it
我們也不去尋找
GOD doesn’t intend to do those things in a man or woman of GOD anymore
似乎上帝已不再在祂的子民中做工
that was what he did back then
那些只是祂往日所行的神跡
Those are things for yesteryear
那些輝煌只存在於往昔
Not for today
而非當下
You see, we need a rack of antlers
如今我們需要的正是這樣的鹿角
Something that causes the world to stop their car and slam it to a pole and say 「did you see that?」
能讓全世界的人都急剎車 並紛紛議論道 「你看到了嗎」
You see, this is Christianity
看哪 這才是基督信仰的精神
And this is what GOD wants to bring back
這才是神所渴望復興的
You see, what we say is despite been officially classified as extinct
儘管看似銷聲匿跡
True Christianity brawny Christianity
但真正的力量強壯的基督信仰
The type of Christianity that stands on a rock
紮根在磐石之上
And is unmoved in a generation
在世代中仍然巋然不動
The type of Christianity that knows the power of their GOD
它深知神的大能
Who are these men?
他們是誰
They were Irish elk
他們正是愛爾蘭麋鹿
Let’s behold majesty again
讓我們重振基督信仰的威嚴吧
Fall flat on our face
承認失敗 謙卑自己
Recognize our uncleanness and the uncleanness of the system around us
承認我們的汙穢並我們周遭的不潔
We know
我們知道
You are waiting for a generation to rise up with faith
禰正等待著一個世代充滿信心地興起
And when our GOD promises
當神賜下應許
We can take it to the bank
我們可以安然信靠
I want to see this rack of antlers
我希望再次見到這榮耀的鹿角
On the church of Jesus Christ again
在耶穌基督的教會中
And I want your lives to declare to the heavenlies
並且我希望你們的生命能向諸天述說
what GOD can and will do
神能夠且必將成就
through lives wholly submitted to Him
藉著全然順服於神的生命
And may this generation see
願這世代看見
What elk are supposed to look like
麋鹿真正的樣子
