1. 「我是個重罪犯人,不買槍只是我的選擇,因為我不想重蹈覆轍」
I'll use myself as an example. I'm a convicted已定罪的 felon重罪犯. I do not own, possess擁有 or handle firearms, ever. I do this because I learned my lesson, I have cleaned up my life and do not intend on ever going back to jail 監獄. My choice to not own a firearm is just that, MY choice.
2. 「不是所有壞人都像我一樣改邪歸正,不去買槍。」
Had I not decided this, the law would have absolutely no effect on my ability to purchase購買 a gun. This is what gun-control advocates擁護者 do not understand, that the law is irrelevant無關的 to those who choose to ignore it. The law only affects those who CHOOSE to obey遵守. I'm not an evil person, I have no intention意圖 of ever hurting another human being. But not all felons are like me and you cannot keep bad people from getting guns.
3. 「法律根本管不住要買槍的人。」
The gun control debate 爭論 is actually amusing好笑的 to me because I see this never-ending struggle努力 by liberals自由派who think that passing more laws will just fix this country right up. The truth is, I turn down 5-10 unsolicited主動找上門的 offers to purchase firearms per year. If I needed or wanted a firearm, I could leave my house tonight, right now, and go pick up a Winchester model 94, an SKS, a Norinco MAK90 (Chinese AK47), any number of large caliber Glock, Taurus or Ruger handguns and at least a half-dozen pump or semi-auto shotguns...and that's just what I can think of that's available, if I asked around, I could probably accumulate積累 an arsenal軍火庫. I want to be crystal clear that I would NEVER do that because I have too much to lose by breaking the law, but point of fact, passing a 1000 more laws will not change how ridiculously荒謬地 easy it would be for me to get a gun.
4. 「所以槍枝管制,只是個錯覺。」
You ask why there is so much opposition反對? Because "gun-control" is an illusion幻覺.
