(HP) The first English-languagevocational training programme is due to open in Luxembourg from September thisyear.
It will be available to pupils from year10 onwards and will be split into three sections - electronics, mechanics andIT and computing.
Louise Crosby, from the Ministry of Education, made the announcement during an information session about international schools in Luxembourg on Wednesday evening and confirmed theministry had received the go-ahead for the new training programme earlier onWednesday.
She said: "We are introducing avocational training programme starting in year 10, in English.
"It will give children access touniversity degrees later on."
The training programme will be held atone of the international schools but no further details have yet been given.
More information, including how toapply, will be released in the coming weeks.
