外貿英語英譯英閱讀：China's customs show

長期處於在「非英語語言環境」下，能讓你的英語保持「可持續性發展」的唯一方法，就是「英語閱讀」。

但是，英語閱讀必須講究方法：英語閱讀就是英語閱讀，不要一不小心就弄成了「中文閱讀」。在「非英語語言環境」下，再用英譯漢式「閱讀英語」，無疑讓你本來就弱的英語雪上加霜。

英語閱讀就是大量的「英語輸入」和「英語輸出」(不是「中文輸出)。

在英語的「音形義」三要素中，「英語輸入」指的是「音」和「形」。英語朗讀就是英語「音」的輸入的專項訓練。「形」則是做到：會讀的音，一定也會寫。lamborghini你估計一看就知道「義」(中文：蘭博基尼)，可是，我要你「寫出來」估計就會錯誤百，寫不下來了。這就是「音」不過關，「形」也不過關。

「義」則是指「英語輸出」是必須也是英語的，「輸出」意味著你在「用」英語，在「說」英語。

下面，我們來「檢測」：

一、英語原文

In the first quarter, foreign trade of goods fell 6.4 percent year on year to 6.57 trillion yuan.

China's foreign trade showed signs of stabilizing in March with export and import both beating bearish market expectations.

Exports dipped 3.5 percent year on year in yuan terms last month while imports climbed 2.4 percent, data from the General Administration of Customs showed.

就這麼短短的一段英語，你的英語閱讀能做到「義」是英語的，「輸出也是英語的」，英語閱讀是英譯英閱讀嗎？

二、英語閱讀

1.China's spokesman of customs Li Kuiwen speaks to media about import and export data.

Customs is a checkpoint at the airport for checking imports or exports of something you brung in or take out our a country.

你可以「不懂」，或者「費解」英語customs的含義，但是，看到後續英語about import and export就沒必要再「想」中文了，而是「給你」「說」英語的機會和「考驗」你「說」英語的能力了。否則，翻譯成中文的「閱讀」怎麼能叫「英語閱讀」呢？

2.China's spokesman

If you speak for someone,you're his spokesman.

能這麼「說」英語，說明你「懂」spokesman了，再翻譯成中文就是「多餘的」。否則，就算你能說出英語spokesman「發言人」，嚴格意義上說你的英語水平也沒有絲毫改變：不會說還是不會說。

3. Li Kuiwen speaks to media

Media here means news reporters,correspondents,photographers from newspapers, magazines,TVs,and radios.

見到英語media要求你能熟練「用」這些英語可不是一天兩天的事。可是，你的英語閱讀卻沒有一天是這麼做的：遺憾。

From January to June,that's first half of a year

很多人可以開口就來中文「上半年」，可是張口就來英語(說和寫)January,June就不見得了。這就是英語「音」「形」都不過關的體現。但總是被「懂」中文發音和中文意思掩蓋了，於是意味英語也「懂」了。最後的表現就是英語「讀」的再多，也還是「啞巴英語」。

Three months are a quarter of a year(One season).We have four quarters in a year,four seasons,12 months.

凡是依然把first quarter「讀成」中文「一季度」而不能讀成上面英語的都要加倍努力了。

6.year on year

如果「不能說」英語的話，最好養成查英英字典的習慣。連這一步都不願做，只會「等」現成答案，英語閱讀是沒有進步的：Year on year means continuously in two or three or more years

能這麼「說」英語，英譯漢式「英語閱讀」已經沒有必要：中文不再是「讀懂」英語的唯一語言。

If a situation stablizes,it dose not change too much,or sharply,going too high or too low in a period of time.

8.export and import beating bearish market

In a bearish market,everyone sells,and sells and the market turns worse.

In a bullish market,every one buys,buys,and buys and the market turns better and better.

所以說，英語閱讀不關「懂不懂」中文的事，只關「能不能」英譯英事。

Exports dipped 3.5 percent

If something dips,it means something drops,something falls.If something drops,something falls,that means something dips( in figures,in percentage).

這就是英語輸入(英語「音」的輸入)：Exports dipped 3.5 percent(英語「義」的輸出)：If something dips,it means something drops.If something drops,that means something dips in figures,in percentage(沒有標準答案，即不一定就是我這裡「說」的英語，可以是你自己組織的英語句子，但「輸出」必須是英語，不能是中文(翻譯))。
