《Appetite For Destruction》是八十年代傳統重金屬專輯的裡程碑作品，金曲迭出，銷量巨大。Guns N' Roses（槍與玫瑰）的流氓形象，赤裸裸的誠實、激情、樂手們的天賦與高度的音樂性鑄就成了重金屬歷史上的豐碑。這裡的一切都像是重金屬，但擁有八十年代乃至所有時代的重金屬和硬搖滾裡沒有的東西——誰都不知道這東西確切是什麼。
