轉眼間,光景又至仲夏。火紅的榴花預告著端午的來到。

Suddenly, midsummer is upon us again, the scarlet red pomegranate blossoms indicating the arrival of the Dragon Boat Festival.

端午節又稱重五節、端陽節,因其歷史悠久,演化出紛繁的民間習俗:賽龍舟、佩香囊、飲雄黃……在所有習俗之中,又屬吃粽子最為討喜。清香的粽葉裹著江米,很難有人不愛這一口軟糯。

The Dragon Boat Festival, which is also known as the Double-Fifth Festival, has a history of more than 2,000 years. Over the years, many activities have developed and evolved into customs, such as dragon boat racing, the making of sachets, and realgar wine drinking. Among all these activities, eating Zongzi (rice dumpling) is the most popular one.
