我女兒2001年國慶節後出生，到2008年9月時，還不足7周歲。她已經開始讀二年級了。
我們依然按照以前養成的習慣和節奏，堅持利用每天的閒暇時間學習我花了5500元為她購買的《階梯少兒英語》教材。

My daughter begins to learn the five new words in lesson 5.She is lucky. Today’sfive new words are all concerned about the animal. In fact, she has learnt thembefore. So it needn’t take too much time for her to remember them.
我女兒今天開始學習第五課的五個新單詞了。她很幸運,今天學的五個單詞都跟動物有關。事實上,這些單詞她在以前都學過。因此,對她來說,不用花太多的時間去記住它們。

英語單詞過關的標準是：能夠快速通過我的漢英、英漢雙語互譯考核，並且能夠正確拼寫出單詞。第一遍學習的時候，主要是口頭考核，由於她年齡還小，我沒有要求她書寫。

My daughter learnsthe conversation in lesson 5 of level 10.I also teach her how to learn byherself through internet. I teach her to go to the website of the People’sEducation Publishing House and find some material that she is learning in thissemester. Now she can do it.
我女兒今天學習了第十單元的第五課中的對話部分。我還教了她如何通過網際網路來自學。我教了她如何進入人民教育出版社的網站，如何找到跟她這學期學習相關的學習資料進行自我學習。現在她會找了。

Jack: Monkeys likebananas.

Tom: Let’s see thetiger.

Alan: Wow! Howscary!

Tom: It’s OK. He’s just sayinghello.

Jack: Ask him!

Tom: Yeah. I』ll put a long nose on my faceto ask him:」Hello, Mr. Elephant.

My daughter learns five new sentences in lesson 5 today. There are only severaldifficult words for her. So she can grasp them quickly.

大象、老虎、猴子、狗和貓都是動物。
Are tigers scary?
老虎可怕嗎？

動物園裡有許多動物。
I like to go to the zoo.
我喜歡去動物園。
英文句子的過關標準：同上。由於她已經養成了一定的自學習慣，因此一旦她認定自己背會這些句子後，讓她完成口頭翻譯對她來說，簡直是小菜一碟。
