歷史典故

這個用語的出處有很多種說法，其中一種認為與20世紀50年代美國氣象局的分類系統有關。這個系統把高掛在天上、誘人蓬鬆的白雲歸類為「第九種雲(cloud nine)」。

                          

因此，如果某人覺得自己很開心，沒有煩惱，就會說自己身處這種輕盈蓬鬆的雲裡。
