是的，直接說「wait」就可以！
沒有語言障礙，最簡單的表達！
"Wait.Something feels off here."
等一下，好像有什麼地方不對。
或者在很急的時候連續說：
"Wait, wait, wait."
……a second / minute / moment.（不用刻意分清楚用哪個，可隨意搭配）
Give me a second.
等我一下。= Wait a second.
second在這裡是「一秒鐘，秒」的意思。
"Just give me a second
to put my shoes on."
就給我一點兒時間讓我穿上鞋。
"Wait a second please,
I'll be right there."
請稍等一下，我馬上就到。
Hold/Hang on a minute.
稍等一會兒。
（打電話的時候常簡單說：Hold on.別掛斷電話。）
hold/hang on 原意是「牢牢抓住」，打電話時指「抓住電話別掛斷」，用在口語裡就是「等一會」的意思。"Could you hold on a minute?
My friends are coming."
你可以等一下嗎？
我的朋友們還在路上。
稍等片刻，馬上
- Are you ready to go?
你準備好走了嗎？
- Half a moment.
馬上。
"Just a few more minutes!"
還有幾分鐘就好了！
Let me see.
等等，讓我再想想。
"Let me see, I will find my purse."
等一等，我會找到我的錢包的。
Keep your shirt on.
冷靜點，耐心點
"Keep your shirt on,
I'll be right there in a minute."
再耐心等等，我馬上就到。
Hold your horses.
耐心地等一下!
"Hold your horses,
it is going to be your turn."
稍等一會，很快就輪到你了。
Stick around for a while.Stick around 原意是「徘徊、停留」，
這裡延伸為「等候」
"Stick around for a while,
the manager will soon be back."
稍等一會，經理很快回來。
Sit tight.
耐心等待
"Sit tight. I'll be right back."
在這兒等著別動，我馬上就回來。
bear with me再忍耐一下，再等我一下。
bear是「忍受」的意思，
這個短語通常用在較長的發言前，
表示「聽我說完，容我說完」。
"Please bear with me for a minute,
and you'll see what I mean."
請稍耐心等待，你馬上就會明白我的意思的。
