常爸想起前段時間邁克預支薪水的事，這次聊完工作就順便問了一下。
Yes! I sold out my stocks at a good time, most of my money are back! So I'm loaded right now!
（是的！我趕上好時機把股票都賣了，大部分錢都回本了。所以現在I'm loaded!）
常爸剛想要恭喜他，在一旁玩耍的小小常就湊了過來。
Loaded? What do you have in your body?
（Loaded？你身體裡裝了什麼呢？）
No, Victor. "loaded''means Mike has a lot of money. This is really good news, congrats, Mike!
（不是這個意思，小小常。「loaded」意思是邁克現在很有錢。這真是個好消息，祝賀你，邁克！)
They are nearly all my savings. I have to buy something nice for myself now.
（這幾乎是我所有的積蓄。我現在得給自己買點好東西。）
Ha ha. It's your call.
（哈哈。你的錢你怎麼花都行。）
load表示裝載、負載，「loaded」直譯是裝載著物品的，它有很多引申含義。今天我們遇到的「be loaded」表示：腰包鼓鼓的、有錢的，是一個非正式的用法，適用於親朋好友之間的閒談。
例如：
Susan inherited the family business. She must be loaded!
蘇珊繼承了家族企業。所以她一定非常有錢！
Bill Gates is loaded. He has so much money.
比爾·蓋茨非常富有。他的家產富可敵國。
Mr.Wilson is loaded, but he is also generous with his money.
威爾遜先生家財萬貫，出手也很大方。
除了「loaded」以及常見的「rich」可以表示有錢，還有哪些類似的表達呢？
✍affluent/wealthy 富有的、富裕的
affluent/wealthy這兩個詞我們都比較熟悉，比「rich」更正式一些。例如：
I heard that she has a wealthy uncle.
我聽說她有個非常有錢的叔叔。
He is becoming more and more affluent.
他變得越來越有錢了。
✍well-off 手頭寬裕的
「well-off family」就是我們經常提到的小康之家。「To be well off」就是「實現小康」。例如：
"Five billion people can reasonably aspire to join the one billion who are already well off." says Mr. Beckhoff.
倍福先生表示，有50億人立志要實現小康，加入那些已經算作富人的10億人的行列當中。
✍privileged 受特別優待的、優越的
privilege表示特權，privileged表示享有特權的，意思是從小生活環境就很優越。比如：
She had a privileged upbringing.
她是含著金湯匙長大的。
✍the one percent 財富塔頂端的那1%
It's easy to get by in society when you're part of the one percent.
這個社會就是富人好辦事兒。
✍filthy rich 腰纏萬貫的
filthy的意思是「骯髒的，汙穢的」。這個短語含貶義，暗指積累財富的手段非常骯髒，有錢到渾身都是銅臭味。例如：
They're filthy rich.
他們真是富得流油呀！
學了這麼多「有錢」的說法，是不是覺得自己的精神上也特別的「wealthy」呢？
