As a new urban district in Zhengzhou, Zhengdong New District won the first "Outstanding Urban Planning and Design Award" in China at the 2002 annual conference of the World Federation of Architects for its conceptual plan.

From the founding of the People's Republic of China to the 1990s, these enterprises, like shining pearls, had been the backbone of Zhengzhou's industry, shining the dazzling light of "made in Zhengzhou" to the world.

As a leader in Zhengzhou industry, Zhengzhou No. 2 Grinding Wheel Factory was a key enterprise specializing in abrasives and grinding machines directly under the former Ministry of Machine-Building Industry. It was also the country's largest, most invested and most extensive grinding wheel factory in Zhengzhou.

作為鄭州工業的龍頭企業，二砂（中國第二砂輪廠），曾是原機械工業部直屬的大型綜合性磨料磨具骨幹企業，也是國家當時在鄭州投資最多、廠區面積最大、全國規模最大的砂輪廠。

With the passing of time, Zhengzhou No. 2 Grinding Wheel Factory is not what it used to be. However, the tall chimneys, static Bauhaus factories, thousands of ancient oriental planes, cypress trees, poplars and magnolia trees are all telling the industrial glory of Zhengzhou for more than half a century, making the site possible to be transformed into a characteristic cultural and creative park.

鬥轉星移，物是人非，如今的二砂已不見昔日風採。但是，那高高的煙囪、靜立的包浩斯風格廠房、上千棵古老的法桐、柏樹、楊樹、廣玉蘭，無不在訴說半個多世紀以來輝煌的鄭州工業記憶，更蘊含著改造為特色文化創意園區的潛質。

Its rich industrial and cultural heritage has attracted world attention again and again. According to statistics, there are 20 well-preserved industrial buildings in the former site of the factory, among which 7 were listed as outstanding modern historical sites of Henan Province in 2015, and 13 were included in the first list of historic buildings under the protection of Zhengzhou City in 2018. In October 2019, the State Council approved and announced the eighth batch of national cultural heritage sites, including the site of Zhengzhou No. 2 Grinding Wheel Factory.

二砂留下的豐富工業文化遺產，一次次被世人矚目。據統計，二砂舊址現有20棟保留完好的工業建築，其中7棟在2015年入圍河南省近現代優秀史跡，13棟建築於2018年被列入鄭州市首批歷史建築保護名錄。2019年10月，國務院核定公布第八批全國重點文物保護單位名單，中國第二砂輪廠舊址上榜。

As one of the construction projects of "four historical and cultural areas" in Zhengzhou, the Cultural and Creative Park of Zhengzhou No. 2 Grinding Wheel Factory, with its focuses on the overall transformation of the main factory building of the former site, will build itself into a "new culture hub, new industry model and brand-new card" of Zhengzhou with the most distinctive and valuable industrial elements retained, so as to drive the optimization and upgrading of the cultural and creative industry in Zhengzhou. The project plans to build a high-end urban platform integrating art, creativity, technology and fashion experience through the establishment of a variety of formats such as industrial future Rubik's cube, Museum of Science & Industry and cultural and creative characteristic urban blocks.

A few days ago, a 20,000-ton bridge rotated counterclockwise at an average speed of one degree per minute as four consecutive jacks started simultaneously at the construction site of the swing bridge on Yingbin Avenue in Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone. After 77 minutes of rotation, it smoothly crossed over the intercity railway from Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport to Zhengzhou South Railway Station, which means that the key project of the central axis in the Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone has been successfully completed.

近日，在鄭州航空港實驗區迎賓大道上跨機南城際鐵路轉體橋施工現場，隨著4臺連續千斤頂的同步啟動，重達2萬噸的大橋以平均每分鐘1度的速度逆時針旋轉，在歷時77分鐘旋轉77度後成功轉體，平穩跨越了新鄭機場至鄭州南站城際鐵路，這意味著航空港實驗區中軸線「咽喉」工程順利貫通。

Zhengzhou Yingbin Avenue is the only express route from Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport to Zhengzhou South Railway Station. This 2-way 8-lane expressway with a design speed of 80km/h runs through the core area of Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport with a total length of about 11 kilometers. With the completion of swing construction of the last swing bridge across the railway section, the expressway connecting Xinzheng Airport and Zhengzhou South Railway Station has been successfully linked up. This is of great significance for promoting the integration of international air transport network, asterisk-shaped high-speed railway network and rail transit network in Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone, and also marks the formation of an international logistics hub "connecting Zhengzhou with the world, linking eastern, central and western parts of China" at a faster pace in the zone.

鄭州迎賓大道是新鄭機場至鄭州南站唯一的快速通道，橫穿新鄭機場核心區，線路全長約11公裡，採用雙向8車道設計標準，設計時速80公裡。隨著其跨鐵路段最後一座轉體橋轉體成功，通道正式貫通，這對推進航空港實驗區國際航空運輸網、「米」字形高鐵網和軌道交通網融合具有重要意義，也標誌著該地區「聯通境內外，輻射東中西」的物流通道樞紐正在加速形成。

As the third large-scale comprehensive passenger transport hub in Zhengzhou, Zhengzhou South Railway Station will form a "golden triangle" with Zhengzhou Railway Station and Zhengzhou East Railway Station, connecting the asterisk-shaped rapid rail transit network with the inter-city railway network of Central Plains City Cluster. It is the starting station of Zhengzhou-Fuyang High-speed Railway, the intermediate station of Zhengzhou-Chongqing High-speed Railway, and the central station and transfer station of intercity railway in Central Plains City Cluster.

再說「後發制人」的鄭州南站，作為鄭州第三個大型綜合客運樞紐站，建成後將與鄭州站、鄭州東站形成「金三角」的樞紐格局，連接「米」字形快速鐵路網和中原城市群城際鐵路網，是鄭阜高鐵的起始站，是鄭萬高鐵的中間站，是中原城市群城際鐵路的中心站、換乘站。

Zhengzhou was included in the national logistics hub list in 2019. National logistics hubs cover 6 types: land port, airport, port, production service, trade service, and land border port. Zhengzhou is the only airport-type national logistics hub on the list. Relying mainly on the airline hub, it provides fast and efficient logistics services such as direct domestic and international air transport, transit and distribution, as well as combined transport services such as air-rail and highway-air for Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone and its radiating areas.

The water of Yingze ripples eternally. Xingyang is an ancient city that started in the Spring and Autumn Period and flourished in the Qin and Han dynasties. Today we still have access to its foundations, rammed earth terraces and ancient walls.

城前滎澤水，不改舊時波。始於春秋，興於秦漢的滎陽故城，房基、夯土臺等依稀可見，人們至今仍可以撫摸它的古老城垣。

The Zhengzhou section of Tongji Canal in the Grand Canal of the Sui and Tang dynasties runs through the Huiji District. Huiji Bridge, a three-hole stone arch bridge on the old canal course, was built in the Sui Dynasty, continued in the Song and Yuan dynasties, and rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty. This is where the name of Huiji District comes from.

隋唐大運河通濟渠鄭州段貫穿轄區，運河故道上的三孔拱券石橋——惠濟橋，始建於隋、延續宋元、重修於明，惠濟之名，因此而來。

"The picturesque Huiji District" is a pet name for the northern part of Zhengzhou. In Huiji District of over 230 square kilometers, there are 17 municipal cultural heritage sites, 182 immovable cultural relics, and more than 30,000 clues of intangible cultural heritage. Today's Huiji District boasts beautiful natural scenery and rich cultural resources. It has made clear the development goal of "eco-city, tourist city, healthy city and tech city", and is also known as "the most livable city in the north of Zhengzhou".

「山水惠濟」，是鄭州人對北部惠濟區的愛稱。在惠濟區230餘平方公裡的土地上，分布了市級以上文物保護單位17處，普查在冊不可移動文物182處，非物質文化遺產線索3萬多條。如今的惠濟區，既有湖光山色之美，又有人文風物之華，明確了建設「生態城、旅遊城、健康城、科技城」的發展目標，也留下了「鄭州之北最宜居」的美名。

Along Dehua Street with a history of more than 100 years, time-honored brands are standing next to each other, presenting diverse cultures such as street art, cultural and creative markets and studio theaters, and showing the "easy life" of Zhengzhou people. It is the epitome of old Zhengzhou and the window into Central Plains culture.

Modern buildings of different shapes stand in the Erqi Business District. Department stores and shopping centers gather here. All of them are shopping paradises and fashion resorts.

一座座造型各異的現代建築聳立在二七商圈，百貨商場、購物中心雲集，個個都是購物天堂，是時尚勝地。

In the 1990s, the internationally well-known commercial war in the Central Plains was the first commercial war in the history of China, which brought the Erqi Business District under the spotlight since its birth. Erqi Business District sees the urban development of Zhengzhou.

20世紀90年代蜚聲內外的中原商戰，那是中國歷史上第一次商業戰爭，也讓二七商圈自誕生之日起就自帶「光環」，承載著城市發展的軌跡和記憶。

In 2020, it was proposed in the work report of the Zhengzhou government that Erqi Square should be built into "the spiritual home of Zhengzhou people, the consumption center of Henan Province and a model of urban rejuvenation in China". The renovation and improvement plan of Erqi Business District will be released soon. The space will be rearranged and new cultural commercial forms such as city light show, shopping street and city day will be introduced.

2020年，鄭州政府工作報告提出，把二七廣場片區打造成「鄭州人精神家園、河南省消費中心、全國城市復興典範」。如今，二七商圈改造提升方案逐漸浮出水面，重新布局空間，引入城市燈光秀、購物街、城市日等新興文化商業形式。

With historical profundity, cultural roots and business genetics, Erqi Business District carries the hope of Zhengzhou's business center, and will become a tourist center and a historical and cultural center of Zhengzhou.
