英語罐頭

英語中很多長的很像，意思相近卻不相同的雙胞胎兄弟。這讓很多英語初學者甚至英語大咖不小心就用錯。
例如今天罐頭菌要給大家對比的altogether和all together，大家「總」是犯錯，很是頭疼。
一.All together
all together 同時，在一起
（All together means 『with each other』 or 'at the same time', and is similar to together)
All together 意思是「同一個時間」，或者「在一起」，和together的意思相近
當表示同一個地方時:
Put your clothes all together in one pile and I』ll wash them for you.
把你的衣服放在一起，我會幫你洗好。
當表示同時:
The two things fell to the ground all together.
這兩個東西同時落到了地面上。
二.Altogether
altogether總共，全部的，總的來說
（Altogether means 『completely』 or 『in total』）
Altogether意思是「總共的」，「全部」
There were altogether 5 students who attended the game .
共有5個學生參加了比賽。
The book was 13.50 and the magazine was 5.25, so it was 18.75 altogether.
這本書13.5歐元，這本雜誌5.2歐元，因此一共18.75歐元。
三.總結
「all together」 和 「altogethet」兩者雖然讀音一樣，寫法也有一定相似性，但兩者在意思上是完全不一樣的。
「all together」表示「在同一個地方」或「同時的」，
常用於句中或句末；
而「altogether」則是副詞，表示「總共；全部地；總的來說」。
