這幾個詞的共同含義是能力。
ability 指比較全面的能力。如:He is a man of ability.
capability 指某方面的才幹或技能。如:The man has great capabilities in playing the piano.
capacity 側重於領會的能力。如:This book is within the capacity of ordinary readers.
faculty 指智力。如:He has a great faculty for learning languages.
