The car had begun to shudder and was losing speed. 汽車開始顫抖並開始逐漸減速。

2 give the steering wheel a little shake 輕輕搖了搖方向盤

I gave the steering wheel a little shake. 我輕輕搖了搖方向盤。

3 grip the edge of one's seat very hard 攥緊座椅邊緣

So I had to grip the edge of my seat very hard. 所以我不得不攥緊座椅邊緣。

4 give a nasty wobble 劇烈搖晃

The car gave a nasty wobble. 汽車劇烈搖晃了一下。5 a loud clunk 哐啷一聲

There was a loud clunk, a splutter, and the engine died completely. 哐啷一聲，接著噼啪一聲，引擎徹底熄火了。6 swing the steering wheel around拼命轉動方向盤

Our driver yelled, and swung the steering wheel around. 司機大喊道，拼命轉動方向盤。7 an earsplitting bang 一陣震耳欲聾的巨響

With an earsplitting bang of metal on wood, we hit the thick tree trunk.一陣金屬與樹木撞擊的巨響，我們撞在了粗大的樹幹上。8 crumpled hood變形的引擎

Steam was billowing from under the crumpled hood. 變了形的引擎蓋下面冒出滾滾蒸氣。

9 hit the windshield撞到了擋風玻璃上A golf-ball-sized lump was throbbing on my friend's head where she had hit the windshield.我朋友的頭撞到了擋風玻璃上，鼓起一個高爾夫球那麼大的腫包。
