What time is it now?是我們中式思維下得出的翻譯，講英語的時候其實必要說now，因為當你問出這句話時就是在問現在，在沒有附加信息的情況下，你不可能問明天幾點了?或者昨天幾點了?所以加上now在老外看來純屬多此一舉。
那什麼時候可以加now呢?
當你問：
跟你所在地有時差的地方現在時間時會加now
比如，你在國外問北京現在的時間
What time is it in Beijing (right) now?
現在北京什麼時間呢?
除了「What time is it?」外，
What's the time?
也是一種非常常見的問時間的方式
這兩種是常規的問法，
另外如果你在國外也可能會碰見這麼問的方式
「You got the time, mate?」
你知道幾點了麼，朋友?
「Have you got the time on you?」
你身上帶著表沒有(能知道時間的東西)?
「Excuse me, can I get the time?」
不好意思，我能告訴我時間嗎?
或者如果你和一群人在一起，
也可以這麼問：
「What time have we got?」

答：

問法二：
What's the date?
答：
It's June 6. or It's the 6th of June.
今天是六月六日。
在提問時，day和date是有區別的
day = Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, etc.
day是問星期
date = June 6
date是問日期
當別人問你日期的時候，你沒有必要給出年份。例如：
-What's the date?
-It's June 6. (Not It's June 6, 2005)
只有當某人詢問未來或過去的時間時，需要加上年份。
-When were you born?
你什麼時候出生的?
-March 25, 1965
1965年3月25日
-When is the next election?
下次選舉什麼時候?
-In November of 2020.
