2020年，新冠肺炎病毒在全球肆虐。災難面前，藝術永遠不會缺席，藝術家永遠都是站在最前面的那些人。無論人類遭遇多少磨難，無論向前的路多麼曲折，藝術家們總是用生動神奇的畫筆告訴人們：我們在，美就在，感染和激勵人們堅韌創造更美世界的無窮偉力就在，人類的希望就在。
為凝聚全球抗疫的集體力量，為加深世界各國人民的友誼和促進世界藝術交流互鑑，為集中展示中國和歐洲多國藝術家的繪畫精品和豐富的美學思想，北京藝聯詩書畫院、中國國家書畫網、中歐文化交流中心攜手比利時皇家藝術院在比利時首都布魯塞爾聯合舉辦「全球抗疫·中歐國際藝術展」。

In order to unite the collective strength of the global fight against epidemic, in order to deepen the friendship among the peoples of the world and promote the mutual appreciation of world art exchange, in order to focus on the fine paintings and rich aesthetic thoughts of Chinese and Belgian artists, the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Belgium, together with the China-EU Cultural Exchange Center, the Chinese National Art Research Institute, and the Beijing Yilian Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Academy, jointly held the "Global Fight Against Epidemic - China-EU National Art Exhibition" in Brussels, Belgium.
