朋友約著出去逛街，如果你當時心情不好或者說累了，你就會顯得心不在焉。當朋友問你這個怎麼樣，那個如何時，你可能就會隨便應付一句「還好、一般般啦！」。那「一般般」用英文怎麼表達？中國人熟知的可能就是「just so so或so so」,但在平時口語表達中這個卻是很少用到的。那怎麼用英語地道地表達「一般般」呢？你可以用下面這些表達。
1. All right
- Do you like the movie?
- It's all right.
- 你喜歡這個電影嗎？
- 還行吧，一般般。
2. OK/Okay
- This dish tastes spicy！

3. Not so hot
「Not so hot」和溫度沒有關係，它是普普通通不是很好的意思。

4. Average
Average在這裡有普通的意思，就是所謂的「一般般」「馬馬虎虎」。

5. Not (too) bad
「not bad」或者「not too bad」也是我們熟悉的表達，可以理解為「還行吧，不好不壞」。

6. Sort of

- Sort of.

1. Run of the mill
毫無特色，千篇一律，一般的，普通的
人們現在會用「run of the mill」來形容某樣東西雖然不是特別好，但是還算可以。

2. No great shakes
不怎麼樣；一般
口語中「no great shakes」有「不怎麼樣，不怎麼好」的意思。
