Cavecat Pete wakes up early.
The sun is shining.
The birds are singing.
Today is going to be a great day,
Pete thinks. But then Pete's bed
starts to shake. His friend Vinny the
Velociraptor is coming to visit.

"It's a perfect day for a picnic!"
says Vinny.
"What a great idea," says Pete.
"Who should we invite?"
"Everyone!" Vinny yells.
"Right on!" says Pete.
Pete loves picnics!
He heads out to invite all his friends.

「好主意！」皮特說。「我們應該邀請誰？」
「所有人！」維尼歡呼道。
「好極了！」皮特說。

他出發去邀請所有的朋友。
First Pete finds his good friend
Ethel the Apatosaurus!
To get her attention, Pete climbs all the
way up to the top of the tallest tree.
"Would you like to come to a picnic?"
Pete asks.
"I'd love to," say Ethel. "What can I bring?"
"How about a really big salad?"
Pete suggests.
"What a great idea," says Ethel.
"I'm on it!"
皮特首先找到他的好朋友謬龍埃塞爾。
為了引起她的注意，皮特一路爬到最高的樹頂。
「你願意來野餐嗎？」皮特問。
「我很樂意。」埃塞爾說：「我需要帶什麼來呢？」

Pete wanders along the river.
He sees T.rex!
T.rex plays guitar. T.rex is awesome!
"Hey,T.rex," Pete yells,
"want to come to a picnic?"
"Sweet," says T.rex."Can I bring my guitar?"
"Defintely," says Pete. "We can jam!"
"Count me in," says T.rex.
"Okay if I bring Al the Allosaurus?
He's a whiz on the drums."
"The more the merrier." says Pete.

霸王龍正在彈吉他，彈得真棒！
「嘿，霸王龍。」皮特喊道：「想去野餐嗎？」
「太好了！」霸王龍說：「我能帶我的吉他嗎？」

「把我算進去吧。」霸王龍說，「我把異特龍阿爾帶來可以嗎？他是個天才鼓手。」
「越多越好。」皮特說。
Pete sees his friend Terri the
Pterosaur in the sky.
"Hi,Pete!" she calls.
Pete invites Terri to the picnic, too.
"Would you mind giving me a lift?"
Pete asks.
"Sure," says Terri. "Climb aborad."
Pete sees the spiked tail of his
main man skip the stegosaurus.
"How are you feeling today, Skip?"
Pete asks.
Skip has been sick with the sniffles.
"Better," says Skip. "Thanks for asking."
"You up for a picnic?"
"I think so," says Skip.
"I'd hate to miss the fun."
皮特看到他的朋友翼龍特莉在天上。
「嗨，皮特！」她喊道。
皮特也邀請了特莉去野餐。
「你介意載我一程嗎？」皮特問。
「當然可以。」泰瑞說，「爬上來吧。」
皮特看到劍龍斯基普的尖尾巴。
「斯基普，你今天感覺怎麼樣？」皮特問。
斯基普得了感冒。
「好多了。」斯基普說：「謝謝你的問候。」
「你要去野餐嗎？」
「我想是的。」斯基普說：「我不想錯過這個樂趣。」
It's almost time for the picnic!
Cavecat Pete rushes through the forest.
He doesn't want to be late.
Whoops!
Pete trips over Trini the Triceratops.
"We're playing hide-and-seek,"
she says before Pete can ask
want she was doing.
"I think I hid a little too well."
"How long have you been there?"
asks Pete.
"What's today?" asks Trini.
"Well, all the dinosaurs are going
to be at the picnic grounds.
Want to come?" Pete asks.
"What a great idea! Maybe somebody
there will play hide-and-seek with me!"
快到野餐的時間了！
皮特衝進森林。
他不想遲到。
哎呀！
皮特被三角龍特裡尼絆倒。
「我們在捉迷藏。」她在皮特想問她做什麼之前說。
「我想我藏得有點太好了。」
「你在那兒多久了？」皮特問。
「今天是什麼日子？」特裡尼問。
「好吧，所有的恐龍都要去野餐場了。想來嗎？」皮特問。
「真是個好主意！也許有人會和我捉迷藏！」
It's time for the picnic.
Vinny and Ethel are setting up
the picnic tables. T.rex and Al are
warming up to play some tunes.
Terri and Trini are playing hide-and-seek.
Even Skip seems to be enjoying himself!
"It doesn't get any better than this."
Pete says.
野餐的時間到了。
維尼和埃塞爾正在擺野餐桌。
雷克斯和阿爾準備演奏一些曲子。
特莉和特裡尼正在捉迷藏。
就連斯基普似乎也很享受！
「沒有比這更好的了。」皮特說。
T.rex comes over then.
"Hey, Pete," he asks, "is there anything
else to eat? I'm a carnivore.
I don't eat salad."
Trini comes over.
"Terri is cheating at hide-and-seek.
She's flying around and peeking."
Skip comes over.
"I don't feel so good,"he says,
and he sneezes.
The dinosaurs all start to argue.
The picnic will be ruined if Pete
doesn't do something.
He leans over to Al and says,
"Can you give me a beat?"
Pete takes out his guitar,
and he starts to sing.
雷克斯過來了。
嘿，皮特。」他問：「還有別的吃的嗎？我是食肉動物。我不吃沙拉。」
特裡尼走了過來。
「特莉玩捉迷藏作弊，她飛來飛去得偷看。」
斯基普走過來。
「我感覺不太好。」他說著打了個噴嚏。
恐龍們都開始爭論起來。
如果皮特不做點什麼，野餐就會完蛋。
他俯身對阿爾說：「你能給我點節奏嗎？」
皮特拿出他的吉他，開始唱歌。
Before long, everyone is having
a great time.
"You know," T.rex tells Ethel,
"I've never actually tried salad before."
"Try it," says Pete. "I bet you'll like it."
T.rex tastes the salad.
Crunch,crunch,crunch.
"Yum!" says T.rex. "This salad is delicious!"
Everyone grabs a plate and digs in.
很快，每個人都玩得很開心。
「你知道的。」霸王龍告訴埃塞爾：「我以前從來沒有試過沙拉。」
「試試看。」皮特說：「我打賭你會喜歡的。」
雷克斯嘗了嘗沙拉，嘎吱，嘎吱，嘎吱。
「美味！」霸王龍說：「這個色拉很好吃！」
每個人都拿起盤子挖了一點。
Everyone decides to play hide-and-seek.
Pete is happy that everyone is getting along.
He feels lucky to have such great friends.
所有人決定來玩捉迷藏。
皮特很高興大家相處融洽。
有這麼好的朋友們他感到很幸運。
"This was the best picnic ever,"
everyone agrees.
"It was the beat picnic because you guys
are the best friends ever." Pete says.
And no one can argue with that.
「這是有史以來最好的野餐。」每個人都同意。
皮特說：「這是最棒的野餐，因為你們是有史以來最好的朋友。」
