小長頸鹿和小犀牛是好朋友，他們一起覓食，可是找不到食物，接著他們遇到一位智者.
▲Once, there was a little giraffe.
He was the first giraffe in the world.
從前，有一隻小長頸鹿。
他是世界上第一隻長頸鹿。
▲He lived in East Africa...
...with his best friend, Rhino.
他住在東非...
和他最好的犀牛朋友。
▲Every day, they looked for food.
每天，他們都在尋找食物。
▲But the sun was hot and the earth was dry.
"I'm hungry."
"So am I. "
There was no food anywhere.
但是太陽是熱的，地球是幹的。
「我餓了。」（犀牛說）
「我也是。」（長頸鹿說）
哪裡都沒有食物。
▲So they went to see...
...the wise man.
"We're hungry. "
"Please can you help? "
所以他們去見...
...智者。
"我們餓了。"
「你能幫助我們嗎？」
▲"Come back tomorrow, " said the wise man.
"I'll make a magic drink for you."
「明天再來吧，」智者說。
「我會為你們做一杯神奇的水。」
▲The next day,the little giraffe visited the wise man.
"Here’s the drink ! " he said.
"Where’s Rhino ?"
The little giraffe didn’t know.
第二天，小長頸鹿來拜訪智者。
「這是神奇的水！」他（智者）說。
「犀牛在哪？」
小長頸鹿不知道。
▲The little giraffe began to drink.
He grew taller....and taller...
"Now you can reach the leaves high in the trees," said the wise man.
小長頸鹿開始喝那個神奇的水。
他長得越來...越高...
"現在你可以吃到樹上的葉子了，"智者說。
▲Rhino had found some dry grass.
He forgot all about the wise man.
"There you are, " said the not-so-little giraffe.
"What happened to you? "
犀牛發現了一些乾草。
他把智者的事拋在了腦後。
「你在這啊，」不再是那麼小的長頸鹿說。
「發生了什麼？ 」
▲"I drank the magic drink, " he said to Rhino.
"Where’s mine? "
There was no magic drink left.
Rhino was stuck with dry grass.
「我喝了神奇的水，」他對犀牛說。
「那我的呢？」（犀牛說）
沒有剩下神奇的水。
犀牛被乾草纏住了。
▲He was angry with the giraffe and the wise man.
And he was angry with himself.
He’s still angry today.
他非常生長頸鹿和智者的氣。
同時他也生自己的氣。
今天，他仍然很生氣。
