　　At one point in his life, Arya Permana was so large he could barely move from his bed.

　　雅利亞·帕瑪納在人生的某階段塊頭太大了，幾乎無法從床上爬起來。

　　But the 12-year-old boy from West Java — who was last year dubbed the world’s fattest child by the Indonesian World Records Museum — has now been dethroned after he lost a whopping 182 pounds. At his peak, Permana weighed over 420 pounds.

　　這位來自西爪哇島的12歲男孩去年被印尼世界紀錄博物館稱為世界上最胖的孩子，但現在他減掉多達182磅的體重後，這個稱呼作廢了。帕瑪納在巔峰時期的體重超過了420磅。

　　Permana went through a gastric procedure in April 2017 to shed weight, and now has a doctor and dietitian monitoring his progress and keeping him on a strict diet.

　　「They prevent me from consuming sweet food and drinks, particularly soft drinks,」 Permana told the Australia Broadcasting Company.

　　「They ask me to eat more fruits and do exercise regularly.」

　　He said his weight has dropped dramatically since the surgery, saying it made his stomach smaller and made him less hungry. 「Now even six spoons (of food) already make me full.」

　　Permana is now able to go outside and play sport with his friends — something he never would have thought possible a year ago.
