My interest in travel first came from my hearing about my dad's adventures whenhe was in the merchant navy, but also came from a desire to be independent froma young age. I attended the specialist school for blind and part line and busyimpaired children. When age ten where I received my ability training alongsidemy other studies. I learned to use a long white cane to get about; to negotiateobjects the cross roads safely; to tackle steps; eventually, to catch buses andtrains. However, it was visiting Boston in USA when my school when age 16 thatinitiated my interest in travelling. Everything in the US was much bigger, apartfrom the breakfast sausages, they were tiny

why would a blind person want to go and see the world? The answer. Why not?

visiting a new destination. not just about viewing the wonderful scenery,architecture, landscapes with your eyes only. It's about engaging all of thebody's senses to discover a place, its people and culture.
當你來到一個全新的景點，不僅只在於用眼睛去看那些美麗的風景和建築，你應該調動身體裡所有的感官去體驗這一切，感受當地的人文風情。
If I visit say Jerusalem, I walk the streets. I might enter a market where I canhear the hustle bustle. The people mingling about bartering for goods. I'm asmell them. I may smell a mixture of onion, spices, meat cooking, the wonderful,sweet aroma tickling my nostrils. something here.

I like to touch objects on the various stores. I may be becoming Tangled in Iraqof scarfs or feel the wind of a motorbike show me Russian bias speed almostknocking me over. I hear, feel, smell. All of this around me, through all mysenses, absorbing the atmosphere, and forming a picture of the scene in my ownmind.

If I visit the famous place, like the Colosseum in Rome. I can touch and walkaround the ancient columns, reading the decay through my fingers. Likewise, Ican listen to an audio Guide or join a guided tour, listen to fascinating in tomake Information, Just like any other tourist.

One of my first experiences in a forest in a foreign city alone was visiting newOrleans when studying in the states. Friends help me book the flight andaccommodation. once in the city, I took a taxi to my hostel however once on thestreet, in that hot, humid, strange city，I'm in terror momentarily panicked. Ithought, I can't do this，I'm alone and blind，how can I possibly manage, oreven simply get about I took a deep breath：So Tony, this is the Challenge youwant！Now get on with it, or go home I turned left, walked up the street asksomeone to show me to the tram stop heading into new Orleans, and had anabsolute ball I felt as Hear Jazz and blues emanating out of every bar; met andlaugh with locals and party goers;Tasty delicious southern cuisine. learned alot about myself and have bundles of fun.
我第一次獨自到國外的城市，是我留學的時候去的紐奧良，是朋友幫我訂的機票和賓館。記得那次，我在街上叫了一輛計程車回賓館。
在炎熱又潮溼的陌生城市中，我一時間驚慌失措——想的都是：我做不到！我眼睛看不見，又孤身一人，我怎麼能應付得了呢，想想都遙不可及。
我深吸了一口氣，對自己說：託尼，這就是你想要的挑戰！要麼繼續要麼回家。
我轉身走到大街上，開口請人把我帶到車站，確實需要絕對的膽量。
我完全沉浸其中，到處都是爵士樂和布魯斯音樂，與當地人和派對愛好者開懷大笑，我吃到了美味的南方特色菜餚，更了解自己了，也體會到了很多樂趣。
That's how I travel. I meet people, on the streets in bars and hostels, makingfriends wherever I go, I tank complicated travel situations and simplify them,by doing this, I get to the places I want to visit.
這就是我的旅行方式，在街上、在酒吧、在賓館，我會遇到不同的人，無論走到哪裡，我都能交到朋友。我試著把複雜的事情變簡單，通過這樣的方式，我去到了自己想去的地方。
when on the road, I have to trust people to help me cross streets，Give me goodat directions the places and assist me to use a cash machine without beingrobbed. Not happened.
當我走在街上時，我會信任路人，讓他們幫助我過馬路。路人為我指引方向，協助我刷卡，讓我的財物不被搶走。
Recently, a backpacked around Russia for a month with my great girlfriend isalso blind. Achieving this is a prime example，What I consider of what I mean bysimplex. Russia is huge at this stage. The transportation systems confusing, andvery few people speak any English. So you might imagine this is quite aChallenge

I simplify this this task. first by researching Russia on my laptop, using ascreen reading software, When I press a key, a computer speak, enabling me tobrowse the internet, find a necessary travel Information, Then With my mom'shelp, a book to all our train tickets in advance, I also found like mindedRussian people online, to stay with. Someone spoke a little bit of English andhelp them helps us explore their city, We also took foreign currency with us, sowe didn't have to use the cash machines. Finally, we use Google translate, Whenconversation became too complicated, because of the language barrier. So this ishow some of the complexities of travel can be simplified about the mostwonderful experiences.
為了使這件事情變得簡單，我用一種讀屏軟體，在筆記本上做與俄羅斯相關的研究，當我按鍵時，電腦能幫我讀出來，這樣我就能瀏覽網頁了，我了解一些必要的旅行攻略。

I've been fortunate enough to touch rare animals: snakes, crocodiles, elephants.I've even been kissed by a draft. Delicious. I visited some of the worlds themost amazing waterfalls. ,lguazu-Argentina and Brazil,Victoriafalls-Zimbabwe.have apenguin's poo in Antarctica……Little boy like ting.

I'm much more been very fortunate，But people like me traveling alone across theworld can appear to be complicated this can be simplified，and become anenjoyable experience。
