a. 英語中需用祈使語氣來表示直接的命令、建議、告誡、邀請等多種意圖。祈使句一般省略主語you，動詞採用動詞原形。如本篇文章內容中的Come in，Shut the door，Open the window等均為祈使句。
b. What must I do？我應該做些什麼呢？其中的must是情態動詞，表示不可逃避義務或不可推卸的責任。
c. make the bed. 鋪床。
d. untidy，亂，不整潔。 un-是前綴，表示「not」這類否定的意思。
e. air the room，給房間通通風。
這裡的air作動詞用。名詞作動詞用是英語構詞法的一種。又如：dust(n.)灰塵；(v.)撣掉灰塵。

must 淺析
must是一個情態助動詞，表示「必須」、「應當」，與have to相似，表示不可逃避的義務。在說話人看來，沒有選擇餘地。但是，must帶有個人色彩，表示說話人的主觀意圖。表示個人感情時通常用must。You must…（你必須……）表示說話人說/認為……是必要的。如：You must sweep the floor. 你必須掃地。（我說這有必要）

1．air
（1）n.空氣，新鮮空氣：
Let's go out and breathe some fresh air. 咱們出去呼吸點新鮮空氣吧。
（2）n.空中，空間：
He likes to stay in the open air. 他喜歡在戶外呆著。
（3）v.晾（衣服、被褥等）；使通風：
Open the windows and air the room. 打開窗戶使房間通風。
Leave the trousers on the washing-line to air. 把褲子掛到晾衣繩上去晾乾。
2．empty
（1）v. 使空；把…倒出（移出）：
Empty the bottle of milk. 倒光瓶裡的牛奶。
They emptied the house. 他們把房屋搬空了。
（2）v. 流出；走出：
The river emptied itself into the sea. 河水流入大海。
It was raining, and the streets began to empty. 天下起了雨，街上的行人開始稀少了。
（3）adj. 空的：
There are some empty bottles in the refrigerator. 冰箱裡有一些空瓶子。
Her purse is empty. 她的錢包是空的。
（4）adj. 空虛的，無意義的：
It's an empty dream. 這是個不現實的夢想。
Officials were flattered by empty complements. 官員們被空洞的恭維話弄得心裡美滋滋的。
（5）adj. 呆板的，毫無表情的：
She looked at him with empty eyes. 她木然地看著他。
He said all this in an empty voice. 他用一種呆板的聲調說了這一切。
