這是一個線上展覽作品,包含兩個組照片,主題的選擇也考慮到了展覽的形式。第一組是三張 名為「斷連」的照片。每一個顯示器上都有一個殘缺的圖像。它們分別是巴黎凱旋門,帕米拉 遺跡還有遼代塔。它們都可以代表歷史上的一種文化、宗教或政權。就在最近幾年,這些古老 遺址都遭到了不同程度的人為破壞。這些圖片來自網路檔,記錄了他們過去的的宏偉,但在這 個作品中,這些圖片殘缺的,像是當人們在網路信號差時去搜索它們的效果一樣。因此,這組 作品旨在展現人類文明的創傷,和對當代社會或政策問題的反思。
This exhibition named ghost space, in this context, it means a kind of existence mode of digital realm.To attend this online gallery exhibition, I plan two series of works which can respond the exhibition form. Each screen shows a fragmentary image on those mobile devices. Those images document various ancient sites, they are pairs Arc de Triomphe, Site of Palmyra and Liao dynasty tower. Each of them can represent a culture, religion or regime in history. Recent years, all of those ancient sites have been destroyed for different degree due to intentional human violence. The three original online images document those departed majestic sites, but in this work they are incomplete, also, looks like someone cannot upload them because of internet problem. In this way, this group of work aim to show the trauma in human civilization and rethinking of social or politics issues.

第二組作品為三張人體或空間與投影的結合。」溶解」展示了現實與虛擬的關係(由於條件限 制,此組照片中投影由後期特效代替。)使用投影去模糊現實社會與虛擬社群中人與人之間微 妙的關係以及網路文化是如何總用在現實生活中。
The second group of work consists three photos of human body with projections. Dissolve shows the relation between reality and digital space. (In this work, I use photoshop to make fake projections due to financial restrictions.) Using projections to blurring the boundary between reality and virtual, Dissolve shows the role of cyber culture playing at present age.
Doppelgänger
"Doppelgänger "是一個德語單詞,意思是指與生物無關的活人的模樣或替身,在民間,這也是 一種不吉利的現象 1。我第一次看到這個詞是在弗洛伊德那本名為 「The uncanny」 的書中。我 對 "uncanny "的理解是,有些東西可以同時給人熟悉和陌生的感覺, 從而產生一種奇特的感覺。" Doppelgänger "是一種最詭異的現象,它具有 "不可思議 "的屬性。受這個想法的影響,我用 「虛擬」的方式構建了那些 「非自願雕塑」。在拍攝了水果、小刀、眼鏡等日常材料後,我將這些 主角與它們的複製品通過數字編輯的方式同時呈現在在每張照片中,就像它們是彼此的 " Doppelgänger "一樣。我希望給觀眾帶來一種夢幻般的感覺和極簡主義的視覺享受。
「Doppelgänger」 is a German word means a non-biologically related look-alike or double of a living person, in folklore, it is also a phenomenon of bad luck. The first time I saw this word is
from Freud’s book named 「The uncanny」. My understanding of 「uncanny」 is something can give senses of familiar and unfamiliar simultaneously which created a weird feeling.. 「Doppelgänger」 is one of the creepiest phenomena that has the attributes of 「uncanny」. Influenced by this idea, I build those 「involuntary sculptures」 in a 「virtual way」. After shooting everyday materials, like fruits, knife and glasses, I put those hero objects in each photos with their duplicates through digital editing, just like they are 「doppelgängers」. I want to bring a dreamlike feeling and a minimalism visual enjoyment to audience.

Slaughter house is an montage project. I picked up found footages from ad video which associated with grazing, slaughtering, or meatpacking. The editing strategies used in this video is juxtaposition and split screen. Using split screen to contract lively livestock with bloody scenes in slaughterhouse. Combine the obese children and people in famine with juxtaposition technique. This video provides a novel perspective of meat product, satirizing economic inequality in a black humor style.

「無題」是一個實驗動畫,材料來自於我在生活中拍攝的有質感的物體表面,有一些是我的畫 作。通過 Adobe Photoshop 將他們做成各種幾何圖形,再用 Adobe After Effect 控制它們在帶 有紋理的背景上運動。每一個情景都是片段式的,我想用這種方式去模擬我做夢的感覺,就像 散文一樣,這些不連貫的片段被在銜接在一起後成為了一個有主題的故事。圖像和音效的結合 成為了我傳達某種情緒的媒介。創作靈感來源於佛洛德的「夢的解析」 提到的一個概念:「夢 的轉移」。據佛洛德聲稱,它的作用就是掩飾夢者的潛意識。我的創作方式的目的就是類比出 這種狀態,去讓我的實驗影像不能被理性去理解。它只能人的同理心被感受,是一個被壓抑的 潛意識。
"Untitled" is an experimental animation made from textured surfaces that I have photographed in my life, some of them are my painting. They were made into various geometric shapes via Adobe Photoshop and then controlled with Adobe After Effect to move them on a textured background. Each scene is fragmented, and I want to use this technique to simulate the feeling of my dream, like an essay where these disjointed pieces are come together into a thematic story. The combination of images and sound effects became a medium for me to convey personal emotions. The inspiration for the work comes from a concept mentioned in Freud's "The Interpretation of Dreams": "the transference of dreams". According to Freud, its function is to conceal the subconscious of the dreamer. The purpose of my work is to simulate this state, to make my work cannot be understood by reason. It can only be felt by empathy, as repressed subconscious.

工業文化的發展給人類社會和自然界帶來的改變。
人類社會的發展離不開一次又一次的工業革命,從機械化到電氣化、自動化,再到如今的信息化、智能化,工業發展史貫穿了幾個世紀。工業文化的產物遍布世界各地,同時它們也隨著時代的變遷進行著自我更迭。舊的被新的取代、落後的被先進的淘汰,那些「過去式」的技術,如同承載人類歷史的建築一般,仍然與我們共存於同一世界。當然,一切生命與非生命體,都屬於整個自然系統。
To record the changes that the development of industrial culture has brought to human society and the natural world over time. The development of human society is inseparable from the industrial revolution again and again. From mechanization to electrification and automation, to today's informatization and intelligence, the history of industrial development runs through centuries. The products of industrial culture are spread all over the world, and at the same time they are undergoing self-renewal with the changes of the times. The old is replaced by the new, and the backward is eliminated by the advanced. Those "past tense" technologies, like buildings that carry human history, still coexist with us in the same world. Of course, all living and non-living entities belong to the entire natural system.
