整體來看，今年英語二的翻譯難度保持不變，相對較難的年份如2010年，難度要小一些。唯一擔心的是大家有沒有時間來仔細的做翻譯題。
考點方面：狀語從句、介詞短語、定語從句、並列結構等。這些內容課堂上都反覆的講過了，不會對同學們造成翻譯困難。
詞彙方面，絕大多數的單詞都不是難詞。今年有兩個詞考了熟詞僻義：一個是put,是「說，表達」之意。這個在之前的真題中出現的類似的內容，即2014年的say，表示「例如」。另一個是go，have a go at是「嘗試、試圖」之意。這兩處如果處理不好，可以理解，但對整體的得分影響不會太大。
英語二的翻譯，要求對全文反覆理解，並在理解的基礎上動筆翻譯，所以如果理解的準確的話，兩處可以譯個八九不離十，達到9—12分檔並不難。對於明年考研的同學，詞彙永遠是學好英語的第一要素，從今年的真題看來年，熟詞僻義會成為以後的常考點。

James Herriot, contrary to popular opinion did not find it easy in his early days of, as he put it, 「having a go at the writing game」. While he obviously had an abundance of natural talent, the final polished work that he gave to the world was the result of years of practicing, re-writing and reading. Like the majority of authors, he had to suffer many disappointments and rejections along the way, but these made him all the more determined to succeed. Everything he achieved in life was earned the hard way and his success in the literacy field was no exception.

Game=職業之意，此句翻譯時，不加職業一詞，意思沒有變化，省略;增加「經歷」以便中文更加通順，因為後面說到嘗試寫作;
