大家都知道，向人提出請求的時候，多一些禮貌用語，對方一定很樂意幫忙。
用英文談話中也同樣如此。如果向別人請求幫助說can you help me?就顯得不禮貌，那麼用英文怎樣禮貌的向別人尋求幫助呢？
有以下幾種句式：
一 could you+動詞原形……
例：1 Could you go slowly?
你能開慢點嗎？
2 Could you turn the TV up?
你能把電視音量調大一點嗎？
3 Could you tell me where the toilet is?
你能告訴我吸收間在哪裡嗎？
還可以在Could you和動詞之間加上possibly.會更禮貌，
例：Could you possibly hold my drink.
你能幫我拿一下飲料嗎？
二 I wonder if you could+動詞原形……
不知您能否……
例：1I wonder if you could carry my bag?
你能幫我拎包嗎？
2 I wonder if you could give me some advice?
不知您能否給我一些建議？
3 I wonder if you could help me?
不知您能否幫我一個忙呢？
同樣，也可在could 與動詞之間加possibly.更加禮貌。
例：I wonder if you could possibly take me to the airport?
你能送我去機場嗎？
三 would you mind+動詞ing形式。
你介意……嗎？
例：1 Would you mind passing me my notebook?
m你介意把我的筆記本遞給我嗎？
2 Would you mind taking a photo for me?
你介意幫我拍張照片嗎？
3 Would mind give some advice?
你介意給我一些建議嗎？
四 May I +動詞原形
你可以……嗎？
1 May I come in?
我可以進來嗎？
2 May I have your name?
能告訴我你的名字嗎？
3 May I have a little more?
我可以再吃一點嗎？
五 Would it be too much trouble+動詞不定式
……會不會太麻煩呢？
例：1 Would it be too much trouble for you to drive me home?
你開車送我回家會不會太麻煩呢？
2 Would it be too much trouble for you to wake me up at 6:30 tomorrow?
明天6點半叫醒我會不會太麻煩你呢？
