報告摘要：

Sincethe outbreak of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in December 2019, alarge number of scientific studies and data analysis reports have beenpublished in the international journal of medicine and statistics. Taking theestimation of the incubation period as an example, we propose a low-cost methodto integrate multiple research results and available data. By using empiricallikelihood method, we can effectively incorporate summarised information evenif it may be derived from a misspecified model. Considering the possibleuncertainty in summarised information, we augment a logarithm of the normaldensity in the log empirical likelihood. We show that the augmentedlog-empirical likelihood can produce consistent estimates for the underlyingparameters. Moreover, the Wilks' theorem holds to be true. We illustrate our methodologyby analyzing a COVID-19 incubation period data set retrieved from ZhejiangProvince and summarised information from a similar study in ShenZheng, China.

報告人簡介：

周勇教授，國家傑出青年基金獲得者，中國科學院百人計劃入選者，國務院政府特殊津貼專家，「新世紀百千萬人才工程」國家級人選。華東師範大學經管學部常務副主任，統計交叉科學研究研究院院長。

現任國務院學位委員會統計學科評議組成員，教育部應用統計專業碩士教學指導委員會委員、中國統計學會副會長，中國優選法統籌法與經濟數學研究會副理事長，中國管理科學與工程學會常務理事，曾任中國統計教育學會副會長。同時擔任國內外幾個重要學術期刊的編委和副主編，包括《中國管理科學》、《系統工程理論與實踐》編委和國際期刊《Journal of Business and Economic Statistics》和《Canadian Journal of Statistics》等副主編（AssociateEditor）。

周勇教授主要從事大數據分析與建模、金融計量、風險管理、計量經濟學、統計理論和方法等科學研究工作，取得許多有重要學術價值和影響的研究成果。先後承擔並完成國家自然科學基金項目，國家傑出青年基金，自然科學基金委重點項目等科學項目10餘項，曾獲得省部級獎勵二項。在包括國際頂級統計學和經濟計量學雜誌《TheAnnals of Statistics》、《Journal of The AmericanStatistical Association》，《Biometrika》，《Journal of Econometrics》和《Journal ofBusiness & Economic Statistics》等上發表學術論文近200篇。
