1.當表示「至於」這個意思時，as for，as to都可以用，一般位於句首，但as for常含有貶義。
As forthat man，I despise him. 至於那個人，我鄙視他。
As for(/As to) the money needed，we can get loans from the city bank. 至於所需經費，我們可以從城市銀行貸款。
2.當表示「關於」，後跟whether、when、what、where、how等引導的從句時，只能用as to，有時as to可省略。這種用法上的as to一般位於句中。
He is always outspoken as to what is right and what is wrong. 關於是非問題，他總是敢於直言的。
3.as for後一般只接名詞或動名詞，as to後還可以接疑問詞(what，where…)+不定式結構。
As forasking him for help，I shall never do that. 至於請他幫忙，我是不可能做的。
As forbeing timid，you will get over that. 至於羞怯，你會克服的。
He asked meas to what to say. 他問我該說些什麼。
4.as to常同表示疑問、爭議、訊問等的動詞連用。
I have no doubtas to his innocence. 毫無疑問，他是清白的。
He inquired(as to) where the diamond had been found. 他疑惑鑽石是在哪兒找到的。
