Grasshopper sings in the sun.

Ant works.
螞蟻在工作著。
"Play with me, " says Grasshopper.
蚱蜢說，「和我一起玩耍吧！」
"I can't, "says Ant.
螞蟻回答它，「我不能，」
"But it's summer!"
蚱蜢又說，「但現在是夏天啊。」
"I need food for the winter."
螞蟻回答， 「我需要過冬的食物。」
"Winter will come, "says Ant.
「冬天會來的，」螞蟻說。
"And you will be hungry."
「到時候你會餓的。」
Grasshopper laughs and sings.
蚱蜢一邊笑著，一邊唱著。
Ant carries more corn.
螞蟻攜帶了很多玉米。
Winter comes.
冬天到來了。
Ant is happy.
螞蟻很高興。
Grasshopper is cold...
蚱蜢非常冷...
...and very hungry.
...而且還很餓。
"Come inside, " says Ant.
螞蟻說，「快到裡面來！」
"Thank you, " says Grasshopper.
蚱蜢說到，「謝謝你！」
"Next summer I'll work too."
蚱蜢繼續說，「明年夏天我也要好好工作了！」
