英語「搭順風車」是car-sharing,car-pool,還是get a lift?
我們「學」英語，一個「很壞」的習慣就是：不管讀什麼樣的英語都必須要解決「中文是什麼」才能「學」，才能「懂」。不管你這樣做的理由是什麼，其結果只能是，它是完成我們多年英語學習始終處於「低端」的主要原因。一個人既然學英語，「說」和「用」的都無法做到「是英語的」，記住和使用的不是大量的英語，而是英漢「一比一配方」式的中文，我們的英語怎麼能不總是在低端徘徊？這跟中國當年總是做「貼牌工廠」一樣，做的再多，「大頭」還是被別人拿去。
因此，學並學好英語挑戰的是你能不能在「學」英語的時候「使用」和「記憶」大量的英語。
這是我訓練英語的重要原則：你「說」(英譯漢)十句英語都沒用，都抵不上你跟我「說」和「用」一句英語。
比如，英語裡有car-sharing，car-pool和get a lift
1.I often go to work,or school by car-sharing(car-share).
2.Let's car-pool to work,or to school.
3.I get a lift(a free ride) in Mary's car to work every day.
這三個表達中究竟哪個是「搭順風車」？
下面的「閱讀」給你的是一次「邊讀邊使用」英語的機會或者鍛鍊，不是給你英譯漢「讀懂」。你需要通過「閱讀」，「會說」，也會「記住」大量英語，不是記住很多中文。
下面輪到你是「說」英語和「記住」你說的英語，而不是記住你的英譯漢中的中文：
1) 讀英語：
What is carpool? Carpool vs Car Share
Carpool is the original ride sharing. Basically, you take a passenger in your car when you commute or take a trip, instead of riding alone.
2) 說英語：
讀到上面的英語，你對於carpool「說」出來的是英語，還是它的中文譯文？
1. Okay.I got you.I konw what carpool means.
2.Carpool means You drive a car and you get/take someone/some passengers,your friends,some strangers,etc. riding with you in your backseat,instead of you driving alone in a car and him driving alone in his car.
「學並學好」英語，難就難在你根本「說不出」也記不住這些(高中級別的)英語，而不是你根本「不會英譯漢」：Yoy drive your car and you take some passangers in your car.
記住這句英語來記住carpool什麼意思很困難嗎？
3.To commute means go to work or school from and back home in your car,or in a bus,in a train,etc.
3)讀英語
What is car sharing?
Car sharing, or car share, means a kind of short term car rental, for replacing car ownership. Instead of owning a car, becoming a car share member gives you access to a fleet of different types of cars that can be used for as little as an hour.
4)「說」英語
除非你真正無法直接用英語「讀懂」上面高中水平的英語，否則，該做的就不再是英譯漢「閱讀」，而是「邊讀英語邊說英語」了。
你甚至可以不必完全讀懂，讀懂其中的關鍵詞就足夠「說」英語了：
1.Okay.I got you.If you don't own a car/don't have a car,you rent a public car and drive it your self for a few hours,or for less than one hour,then you are car-sharing,you are travelibg by car-share.Everyone car use the same car and drive after they pay.
你能「說」並記住這些英語嗎？這比你只會英譯漢重要，也具挑戰性更多。這才是「學並學好」英語的精髓，不是看你會「英譯漢」多寡。
「說」好這些英語就是英語口語了。
難道非得要分別用car pool,car share,take a lift「造句」帶中文翻譯才叫「英語口語」嗎。
1.I usually go to work,or school by car-sharing(car-share).
我上班上學一般是坐共享汽車
2.Let's car-pool to work,or to school.
我們拼車上班上學吧
3.I get a lift(a free ride) in Mary's car to work every day.
我搭Mary的順風車。
