Call for papers - Energy Reports is launching a Special Issuecollaborating with world-leading Universities in China collecting the researches on the research topic of Energy Storage
The Special Issue aims to publish state-of-art research findings or review articles addressing the problems and future challenges in Energy Storage technologies. The Special Issue covers the following topics
1. Mechanical storage (Hydroelectricity, Pumped-storage, Compressed air, Flywheel energy storage)
2. Electrical energy storage (Supercapacitor, Superconducting magnetic)
3. Electrochemical(Fuel cell, rechargeable batteries, Flow battery)

陳海生, 男,1977年生,山東滕州人,1997年本科畢業於西安交通大學,2002年在中科院工程熱物理所獲工程熱物理專業博士學位。2002~2004年在北京航空航天大學從事博士後研究;2004~2005年任中科院工程熱物理所副研究員;2005~2009年在英國利茲大學工作,任Senior Visiting Research Fellow/Research Fellow等職;2009年任中科院工程熱物理所研究員、博導;曾被選派到比利時布魯塞爾自由大學(2000.11-2001.2,訪問學者,中比政府間合作項目)和英國劍橋大學(2013.11-2014.02,高訪,科技部領軍人才研修項目)做訪問研究;2010年起先後任中科院工程熱物理所儲能研發中心主任、科技發展處處長、所長助理等職,2015年起任中科院工程熱物理所副所長。
已主持中科院優秀博士專項基金項目、中國博士後基金項目、北京市自然科學基金項目、國家自然科學基金項目、國家國際合作項目、國家科技部863重點項目、英國Yorkshire(省)青年創新基金、中科院留學基金、中科院知識創新工程重點項目、北京市科委重大課題等項目20餘項,擔任國家科技部863重點項目「大規模物理儲能技術研發與示範」首席專家和國家能源大規模物理儲能研發中心首席科學家。作為主要參加者的項目包括國家自然科學基金重點項目、國防973項目、英國EPRSC項目、863重點項目、中英自然科學基金國際合作項目以及橫向課題等30餘項。
在國內外學術期刊及會議上已發表學術論文300餘篇,其中期刊論文250餘篇,SCI收錄110餘篇,EI收錄160餘篇(影響因子5.0以上27篇;去除自引的H-Index為29,SCI他引4000餘次,單篇最高SCI他引600餘次,9篇論文SCI他引超過100次),專利140餘項(其中國際6項,已授權110餘項),國際會議論文40餘篇。共撰寫國際期刊Invited Review Paper 3篇,曾被Science Direct評為最受關注論文(Top 25 Hottest Paper)14篇次,9篇論文被統計為ESI高被引論文(Top 1%)。獲邀參加編寫專著9章(英文6章),其中包括國際著名出版社Springer Press 的2009 Annual Review Series和Talyor&Francis Press 的Handbook of Nanophysics等。
Professor Haisheng CHEN, BEng, PhD, born in 1977, is currently the Deputy Director of Institute of Engineering Thermophysics (IET), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He received his bachelor from University of Xi』an Jiaotong University in 1997 and Ph.D from IET-CAS in 2002. He joined IET-CAS in 2009 as a 「100-Talents」 professor after previous employment at University of Leeds, IET-CAS, Vrije University of Brussels and Beihang University. He is now also the Director of China National Research Centre of Physical Energy Storage and the President of Energy Storage Alliance, China Energy Research Society.
He has been working on the design, experiment and numerical simulation of fluid dynamics, heat transfer and chemical systems related to energy storage and power engineering. More specifically, his research includes energy storage material and system, micro/ nanoscale flow & heat transfer, fluid dynamics of internal flow of turbomachinery. He has been involved with 50+ research projects with 30+ of which as the principal investigator. His research has led to 300+ peer-reviewed papers, 2 books, 9 book chapters, 150+ patents, and 11 provincial level awards. Among the papers, 130+ have been indexed by SCI database and received 5000+ citations according to the Thomson ISI Web of Science Database (SCI). He also acts as the chair/co-chair of 7 international conferences and editorial board member for 8 peer-reviewed journals. He is currently the deputy editor-in-chief of 5 peer-reviewed Journals including Journal of Thermal Science, Energy Storage, Journal of Energy Storage Science and Technology, Journal of Smart Grid etc.
王麗偉,上海交通大學機械與動力工程學院教授,副院長。為國家自然科學基金優秀青年基金項目以及傑出青年基金項目獲得者。
2005年在上海交通大學獲得博士學位後留校任教,2010年及2011年在英國皇家學會獎學金及歐盟居裡夫人獎學金的資助下,先後再英國Warwick大學以及Newcastle大學從事研究工作。2013年再上海交通大學晉升為教授,2017年起擔任上海交通大學機械與動力工程學院副院長工作。王麗偉教授長期從事低品位熱能驅動的製冷與發電技術研究。其在科研方面獲得的獎勵有:國際自然科學二等獎、中國青年科技獎、國家百篇優秀博士論文、國際製冷學會優秀青年學者獎及教育部新世紀人才計劃等。
Prof. Liwei Wang is a full professor and vice dean of Mechanical Engineering School, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She had gotten her PhD degree in Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) in 2005. After that, she worked in SJTU for five years. Then she worked in the Warwick University as a Research Fellow for the Royal Society International Incoming Fellowship in 2010 and worked in the Newcastle University for one year as a Research Fellow that was founded by the EU Marie Curie International Incoming Fellowship. She was promoted to a professor in SJTU in 2013. The research experience of Prof. Wang mainly focuses on the conversion of low-grade heat with the technology of solid sorption and the novel type power cycles. As the Principal Investigator, she had gotten the projects for Excellent Young Scholars from NSFC (National Science Foundation of China) and the Program for New Century Excellent Talents from the Ministry of Education. The awards she had gotten include the Science and Technology Award for Chinese Youth, National Second Award for the Natural Science Research, National 100 Outstanding PhD Theses, IIR Young Researchers Award (James Joule Award), First Award of Natural Science Research in Shanghai City, Royal Society International Incoming Fellowship in UK, EU Marie Curie International Incoming Fellowship, etc.
俞自濤,浙江大學能源工程學院教授,副院長。先後於2000年,2005年獲得浙江大學碩士及博士學位,主要從事高性能傳熱元件和先進傳熱流體的強化傳熱理論研究,以及工業餘熱利用技術、吸收式熱泵技術、太陽能熱利用技術、以及分布式能源系統優化等方面的研究。近3年來,作為負責人主持國家重點研發計劃項目課題,中國工程院重大諮詢項目,國家自然科學基金面上項目,浙江省自然科學基金等多項國家級和省部級項目,另外,主持電力、環保、熱力等重點行業企業的研發諮詢課題20餘項。
學術兼職
中國高等教育學會工程熱物理專業委員會理事,教育部高等學校能源動力類專業教學指導委員會副秘書長,全國大學生節能減排社會實踐與科技競賽委員會秘書長,杭州市能源學會副秘書長,江蘇省太陽能技術重點實驗室學術委員會委員。
Prof. Zitao Yu is a full professor and vice dean of the Department of Energy Engineering, Zhejiang University (ZJU). He obtained his Master and PhD at ZJU in 2000 and 2005.
His research mainly focuses on the enhanced heat transfer theory of high-performance heat transfer elements, advanced heat transfer fluids, industrial heat recovery technology, absorption heat pump technology, solar thermal utilization technology, and distributed energy system optimization. In the last three years, he is the Principal Investor of over 20 projects funded by the national key research and development project, the China Academy of Engineering major consulting project, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation. He is the national and internally well-known expert in the research of experimental and numerical simulation studies of complex heat and mass transfer processes, high-performance heat transfer components (such as heat pipes) and advanced heat transfer fluids (such as nanofluids) in solar thermal utilization and cascade utilization of renewable energy.
黃鈺期,女,副教授,求是青年學者。多年來一直從事新能源汽車及傳統車輛相關的高效熱管理研究,在多相流動、強化傳熱、餘熱回收、和汽車空氣動力學的數值模擬和理論研究方面有較多積累,於2003年和2010年分別獲浙江大學流體力學碩士學位與動力工程及工程熱物理博士學位。以負責人身份承擔國家自然科學基金項目、中央高校基本科研項目和多項企業合作課題;作為研究骨幹參加過多項973項目的攻關工作,並取得了優秀的成果。受邀擔任《Energy》、《Applied Energy》、《Applied Thermal Engineering》、《Journal of Fluid Mechanics》、SAE、《化工進展》、《中南大學學報英文版》、《華中科技大學學報》、《東南大學學報》等國內外若干個期刊雜誌與會議的審稿人。
Dr Yuqi Huang (Y.Q. Huang), graduated from Zhejiang University in 2000 for her bachelor’s degree, and she obtained her Master degree and PhD from Zhejiang University in 2003 and 2010, respectively. She has been an Associate Professor in Institute of Power Machinery and Vehicular Engineering at Zhejiang University since 2015. Dr Huang’s research interests currently are focusing on the battery thermal management of electric vehicles, heat transfer enhancement, two-phase flow, and waste heat recovery. She has published more than 20 SCI/EI journal papers. As a PI or co-PI, she has undertaken more than 10 R&D projects supported by NSFC, Zhejiang University, and enterprises. Due to her excellent teaching ability, she obtained the First Prize of the Teaching Skill Competition of Young Teachers at Zhejiang University and First Prize of the Teaching Skill Competition of Young Teachers in Zhejiang Province.
俞小莉,女,分別於1982、1985和1993年獲浙江大學學士、碩士和博士學位,1985年留校任教,1993、1998年先後晉升副教授、教授,1995至1997年期間先後在日本北海道大學和香港理工大學做高級訪問學者。現任浙江大學能源工程學院教授(博導),浙江省汽車工程學會和內燃機學會理事長、浙江省新能源汽車重大科技專項專家組組長、浙江省汽車及零部件產業科技創新服務平臺主任、浙江省電動汽車創新團隊負責人、中國內燃機學會常務理事和編輯委員會委員、中國機械工業教育協會動力機械工程分會副主任。主要研究方向為車輛熱管理理論與技術、動力機械結構創新與可靠性設計、車用動力能源多元化,近十年承擔973課題、863課題、國家基礎產品科研創新項目、國家自然基金、國際合作項目、企業委託重大課題等40餘項,到校科研經費8700餘萬。累計培養畢業博士和碩士研究生逾百名,發表SCI/EI論文近200篇,授權發明專利75項,獲國家科技進步二等獎、國防科技進步獎二等獎各1項,曾獲全國優秀科技工作者、中國內燃機學會「突出貢獻獎」等榮譽,是國務院特殊津貼專家。
Prof. Yu is a leading scientist for the research on the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE). She has been appointed as the director of Institute of Power Machinery and Vehicular Engineering since 1998. She is also the executive director of Chinese Society for ICEs, direct of Zhejiang Society for ICEs, Editorial board member of the Journals including Chinese ICE Engineering, Journal of Combustion Science and Technology, Transactions of the Chinese Society for Agricultural Machinery.
Prof. Yu has published 5 books and more than 200 peer-reviewed articles. She has recently been awarded the State Council Special Allowance from 2014. In 2011, her project 『High-power medium-speed Marine diesel engine key technology research and industrialization』 has won the 2nd prize of State Science and Technology Prizes in China. Her research interests are • Novel and emission-free automotive propulsion system; • Fatigue design theory and test methods of automotive parts; • Thermal management of Internal Combustion Engine

Dr Yaodong Wang (PhD MSc BSc CEng MIMechE) is a Senior Lecturer and a very active researcher working on sustainable, clean and renewable energy at Newcastle University, UK. He has 20 years』 experience working on 27 research projects as Principal Investigator (PI), Co-investigator (Co-I) and Researcher, (10 multi-disciplinary and multi-institutional); including: Miller Cycle petrol and diesel engines; Flameless Oxidation to reduce NOx emissions from gas turbine and power plant; biofuel petrol/diesel engine; biofuel trigeneration and cogeneration with energy storage; energy systems such as biomass/coal thermal power stations: coal and biomass combustion and gasification; organic Rankine cycle; renewable energy systems (wind solar; biomass, water/hydropower); thermal energy management in processing industries; building energy saving using passive and active methods. He has published over 130 papers in peer-reviewed journals (>60) and conference proceedings (76); Invited reviewer for 12 international journals and Section Chair for 10 international conferences. He has supervised and supervised over 30 research students (12 PhD and 11 MPhil graduated).
託尼·羅斯基裡教授(全名安東尼·保羅·羅斯基裡)教授,1992年獲英國蘭卡斯特大學熱能與動力工程-能源工程方向博士,之後任職於英國紐卡斯爾大學擔任講師,1997年晉升為副教授,1999年晉升為教授。2014年起擔任紐卡斯爾大學SWAN能源研究所所長,2018年2月起獲聘浙江大學光彪講席教授以推動並開展中英聯合研究工作。浙江大學光彪講席教授,英國紐卡斯爾大學SWAN能源研究中心主任。Roskilly教授在能源系統的設計、控制和操作優化領域擁有30年的科研經驗,他的核心研究領域包括火電廠替代燃料(包括氫和生物燃料)的技術開發和環境影響評估; 熱電聯產系統;三聯產; 排放監測與減排技術,非常規發動機等熱力系統配置與性能建模與仿真,化學吸附與新型儲能系統的開發。在過去的5年中發表了130多篇期刊文章,近2800篇引用了他的相關研究論文,H-Index=28。任國際能源類SCI期刊Applied Energy(影響因子=7.900 (2017) 副主編。他長期作為會議組織者(主席)在歐洲組織高水平能源類國際會議。他創辦了國際會議SusTEM『Sustainable Thermal Energy Management』,並一直擔任會議主席及會議主要組織者。除擔任國際知名能源類雜誌Applied Energy(影響因子7.182)的責任副主編外,作為Energy Conversion and Management(影響因子5.589), Applied Thermal Engineering(影響因子3.356)的客座編輯,他承擔了多部期刊的編纂工作。
Professor Roskilly is Kuang-piu Chair Professor at Zhejiang University, Director of the Swan Centre for Energy Research, an Associate Director of National Centre for Energy Systems Integration, a member of the Science Board of the Energy Storage Supergen Hub, UK lead for EERA JP Energy Efficiency in Industrial Processes and an Associate Editor of Applied Energy. He has over 25 years』 experience in the design, control, and operational optimisation of energy systems and has published more than 40 journal articles over the last 3 years and received more than 800 citations over this period.
His undertakes research into various aspects of power generation and thermal energy systems. Core research areas include technology development and environmental impact assessment of alternative fuels for thermal power plants, including hydrogen and biofuels; combined heat and power systems; trigeneration; emissions monitoring and reduction technology, unconventional engine and other thermal power system configurations and performance modelling and simulation, and chemisorption and PCM energy storage system development.

Dr Yiji Lu graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2011 for his bachelor’s degree, he conducted his M.Phil. and PhD at Newcastle University in 2012 and 2016. He has published about 50 articles in high-quality journals and peer-reviewed conference articles. His research interests include but not limited to chemisorption technologies and cycles, thermochemical energy storage materials, engine thermal management, heat driven power generation system and alternative fuels such as ammonia. Elsevier gave him several outstanding reviewer awards in October 2016 (Applied Thermal Engineering), January 2017 (Applied Energy) and May 2017 (Energy). He was an invited session chair at the 9th International Conference on Applied Energy, Cardiff, UK and at the 10th International Conference on Applied Energy, Hong Kong, China, which is the largest international conference organised by Elsevier’s prestigious Applied Energy (Impact Factor 7.900). Dr Lu serves as a Guest Editor of the international journal 『Energies』 (Impact Factor 2.676) and is an Associate Editor of the international journal Frontiers in Energy Research』 (Impact Factor 1.52). He is serving as the editorial board member of various international journals such as the Nature Research Journal 『Scientific Reports』 and the Elsevier Journal 『Energy Reports』 managing the peer review of the manuscripts and making editorial decisions.
