信用證規定的每一種單據必須提交一份正本。當然，提交多份正本提單不構成不符點。
At least one original of each document stipulated in the Letter of Credit must be presented. Of course, more than one original may not constitute a discrepancy.
那麼，如果信用證要求提交單據的副本，提交正本是不是構成不符點呢？答案是不會，在這種情況下，提交正本或者副本都是允許的。
If a Letter of Credit requires presentation of copies of documents, does presentation of originals constitute a discrepancy? The answer is no. Either presentation of copies or originals is fine.
如果信用證使用比如一式兩份、三份、四套等詞語要求提交多份單據的情況下，則至少提交一份正本，其餘提交副本即為滿足要求，除非單據有特別說明。這最典型的例子就是提單，提單會表明一式三份正本，這三份提單原件均應提交。
If a Letter of Credit demands presentation of multiple documents by using terms such as 「in duplicate」, 「in three fold」 or 「in four copies」, this will be regarded as satisfaction by the presentation of at least one original and the rest in copies, unless when the document itself indicates otherwise. The classical example is bill of lading which states in triplicate itself and all of the three original bill of ladings must be presented.
