Key structures
1.真實條件句：主句用一般將來時或祈使句，從句則用一般現在時
例句1： If he is out,I'll call tomorrow.
例句2： Wake me up if I am still sleeping at 7.
2. 非真實條件句：在這一類條件句中，從句談論想像的情況，主句則推測想像的結果。在從句中要用動詞的過去時，這並不表明過去的某一特定時間或過去某一動作，因此常被稱為「非真實的過去」，整個條件句也被稱為非真實條件句。如果從句中的動詞是be動詞，那麼應該在第一和第三人稱單數名詞後用were。
例句1：If you went to the exhibition you would enjoy it.
例句2：If I were in your position,I would act differently.
