About us
Our school, founded in2015, is a joint venture established by Taiwan's Alliance InternationalDevelopment Co. Ltd. and Jiaxing Nanhu District State-owned Assets InvestmentCo. Ltd.This project is highly valued by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the StateCouncil as well as provincial and municipal governments. It is awarded the"Top 10 Foreign-funded Projects in the Province" and "ProvincialKey Construction Project."
Our school is located in the Promised Land which is 11.4 square kilometers, Jiaxing, Zhejiang, China. There is a colorful flower sea, an ecological organic farm, and a quiet, green community. The environmental campus was designed according to USGBC’s gold level criteria. As a result, it has obtained CGBC’s three-star certificate.
Our school is a K-12 regular day school, with independent campuses for kindergarten to ensure the best education quality. We aim to help each child develop into a well-rounded individual. Offering holistic education based on student-centered teaching, bilingual immersion program and inquiry-based instruction to expand students』 potential and to cultivate their passion for life-long learning.
Jiaxing is a city of 5,000,000 people located on the rapid rail line between Shanghai and Hangzhou, both accessible within 40 minutes by train. The city has small foreign community but is a very beautiful, clean, modern city with a 「slow tem poof life.」 The school is located approximately 15 minutes east of the city in an idyllic forest setting. In addition to wonderful food and friendly people, Jiaxing offers ample opportunity for nature walks, cycling, hiking and other outdoor pursuits, not to forget the incredible cultural activities of a true Chinese city. Jiaxing is 30 minutes away from Shanghai and Hungzhou by highspeed train.
Qualification
1. Candidates fromUK/US/AUS/NZ/CAN/SA/Ireland,aged 25-55
2. University degree majored in Early education or English
3. hold certificate of EAL orTEFL preferred
Work description
1. Performing all duties directly related to classroom teaching: preparing unit and lesson plans; providing group and individual instruction; managing classroom behavior and assuring student discipline.
2. Teaching time no more than 960 minutes every week.
3. Pursues individual professional development that aligns with student needs, school initiatives, and institutional needs.
4.Participates in curriculum writing and the planning of educational improvements.
Our Package
1. Salary: For the first-year teacher, start from annual USD 25,000 (net, after tax), increased according to candidate’s teaching year.
2. Including health insurance, housing, transportation, shipment of personal belongings, Visa expenses & work permits. Summer and Winter Vacations and Public Holidays
3.Housing: The School will provide a two- bed room, furnished apartment in Jiaxing.
4. Teacher shall be provided with a round trip economic ticket computed to the closest majorinternational airport to his/her home of record to Shanghai.
