索賠信函的目的是為了獲取更好的服務,對已出現的問題求得儘快的、妥善的解決。它通常是買方由於對收到的貨物不滿而 書寫,如:貨物未按時到達;貨物雖抵達,但與訂單所載不同;貨物有損毀現象;貨物數量短缺或多餘;貨物質量與樣品不符;服務不合理以及收費過高等,這些均是抱怨、索賠的正當理由。 書寫抱怨、索賠信函時,不妨開門 見山出原先雙方同意的條件,然後列舉事實以表示有何不滿,以及為什么不 滿,最後提出解決的方法。內容應明確、清楚 、有理,語氣要簡潔、堅決。 避免使用憤怒和使對方過於難堪的措辭(除非你所抱怨的問題反覆發生,且多次投訴而毫無結果)。
一、提出索賠
索賠(Claims)
例句:
1、Claims occur frequently in international trade.
國際貿易中經常發生索賠。
2、We are now lodging a claim with you.
我們現在向貴方提出索賠。
3、This consignment is not up to the standard stipulated in the contract. We are now lodging a claim with you.
這批貨的質量低於合同規定的標準,現向你方提出索賠。
4、We are very sorry to inform you that your last shipment is not up to your usual standard.
貴方運到的最後一船產品不符合原來標準,特此奉告
二、索賠原因
例句:
1、We regret very much that you shipped bulk goods not corresponding in quality with the sample.
你們運來的這批貨與樣品的質量不相符,我們深感遺憾
2、One of the cases was badly smashed and the contents were seriously damaged.
其中的一個箱子散架了,裡面的東西嚴重損壞。
3、There is a difference of 35 tons between the actual landed weight and the invoiced weight of this consignment.
這批貨的實際重量和發票上的重量相差 35 噸。
三、提出解決方法
例句:
1、Claims for incorrect material must be made within 60 days after arrival of the goods.
有關不合格材料的索賠問題必須在貨到後 60 天內予以解決。
2、I'm afraid you should compensate us by 5% of the total amount of the contract.
貴公司要賠償我方合同全部金額的百分之五。
四、拒絕索賠
例句:
1、 We've given your claim our careful consideration.
我們已經就你們提出的索賠做了仔細研究。
2、We are not in a position to entertain your claim.
我們不能接受你們提出的索賠要求。
五、答應索賠
例句:
1、We regret for the loss you have suffered and agree to compensate you by $500.
我們對你方遭受的損失深表歉意,同意向你們賠償 500 美元。
2、I propose we compensate you by 3% of the total value plus inspection fee.
我建議我們賠償貴方百分之三的損失,另外加上商檢費。
六、索賠類型
例句:
1、There are some different types of claims.
索賠有幾種不同的類型。
2、This is a claim on quality.
這是質量索賠。
3、This is a claim on shortweight.
這是短重索賠。
4、This is a claim on delayed shipment.
這是延期裝運索賠。
5、Claim on shortweight is caused by packing damage or shortloading.
短重索賠是由包裝破損或裝運短重引起的。
6、Claim on delayed shipment is that sellers fail to make the delivery according to time schedule.
延期索賠是對賣方沒有按時裝運貨物而提出的索賠。
