然而在歐洲，留學生可能發現除了自己之外鮮少有人戴口罩
現在也仍然只有小部分人做這樣的防護
所以這篇文章我們主要來了解一下英國人是否會戴口罩呢？
他們究竟支不支持戴口罩呢？
首先我們來看一篇SKY NEWS的報導
Should People be Wearing Face Masks? 人們應該戴口罩嗎？
Normality in Britain seems far away. Weeks ago, face masks would have been reserved for medical staff, now they're an increasingly common sight in public. This Covid-19 survivor won't go outside without one. 「Frankly it's better to be alive than to not keep away from people. But having actually had the virus and knowing how bad it is, and obviously speaking to people who've had friends who've died. Then simple choice let's keep protected」 These shoppers find comfort in wearing them even if there are doubts over their effectiveness. 「Well, I sometimes wear one sometimes I don’t, I’m completely at a loss to know whether it's a good idea or not.」 「If you could get your hands on one, would you wear a face mask?」 「I probably wouldn't actually, no, I just feel that I don't really need one.」 The government is being briefed on whether encouraging people to wear face masks would allow for some loosening of lockdown restrictions. But one expert says this shouldn't come at the expense of those on the frontline. 「Those key workers who cannot socially distance the bus drivers, the shopkeepers, the supermarket cashiers also need to have protection because they are in close proximity to other people too. However, it's vital that this must not mean that there's any reduction in essential and vital supplies of protective equipment including masks for health and care workers.
在英國，普通生活好像已經相去甚遠，幾周前，口罩都是為醫用而保留，但現在我們發現在公共場合佩戴口罩越來越常見了。這位新冠病毒治癒患者出門一定會佩戴口罩：「坦白講，活著還是比跟他人接觸更好更重要。不過真正感染病毒並了解其危害之後，和那些失去了朋友的人交談之後就知道選擇很簡單，就是保護我們自己。這些購物顧客認為佩戴口罩更安心，即使他們對其有效性仍然存疑。「有時候我會戴，有時不會，儘管我完全不知道這對不對。」 「如果你能拿到口罩，你會戴麼? 」 「我應該不會，不，我只是覺得我不是很需要。」政府已經在了解是否鼓勵人們戴口罩可以放鬆一些隔離限制。但專家說到不應該以犧牲前線人員為代價：「那些核心工作者是無法保持社交距離的，公交司機、店員、超市收銀員也需要保護，因為他們和別人的接觸距離小。然而，重要的是給他們提供保護絕不意味著可以減少醫護人員必要防護設施，包括口罩在內。
官方報導中可以看到英國人戴口罩的比例是在逐漸上升的。
無論是否承認其有效性，更多人選擇戴口罩保護自己的安全。
但仍然有人認為完全沒有必要。

I wear a face mask every time I leave the house. This is because my partner explained to me how much they helped stop the spread of coronavirus in china so I feel it is the best way to keep myself safe and, if I was sick, keep other people safe.
When I go out there is a small handful of people often wearing masks and sometimes gloves too but it is always only a small percentage of the total people I see. I also often see families where not every family member is wearing a mask or people wearing their masks incorrectly. I think wearing masks is very helpful and apart from staying inside the best thing that the general population can do to combat the pandemic but currently not enough members of the public are wearing masks for it to be effective.
I would completely be for the public being enforced to wear masks however with the struggles the British government has had supplying protective equipment to frontline workers I wouldn't have confidence that they would be able to make face masks available for everyone to wear.
只要離開家我就會戴上口罩。因為我的伴侶跟我解釋了在中國口罩在阻止新冠的傳播中非常有效，所以我認為這是保證我自身安全的最好辦法，而且如果我生病了，也能確保其他人不受感染。
我出門的時候會發現少數人會戴口罩或者有時候戴手套，但只是我看到的很小一部分。我經常看到一家人出門但不是每個成員都戴口罩，或者有時候看見人們沒有正確佩戴。我認為普通人對抗流行病能做的除了呆在家裡，最好的方式就是戴口罩，但現在民眾中帶口罩的人數太少不足以發揮其作用。
我完全同意民眾強制佩戴口罩。但現在英國政府正在勉強支撐前線工作人員的防護設施的供應。我不是很相信他們能夠有足夠的口罩供給每個人。
Only while visiting the supermarket, as this is the only time I’m around others. I don't wear it while exercising as I go into the country lane to avoid others.
I don't often see people wearing masks while out on the streets. However, I often see people wearing masks at the supermarket & driving vehicles. Mask wearing absolutely is helpful to disease prevention and control.
I’m often critical of any sweeping changes like this, but I would be for it, even at this stage in the pandemic. However, I would feel it's a bit too little too late.
只有去超市的時候會，因為那是我唯一周圍有人的時候。去鍛鍊的時候不會，因為我一般去鄉間小道避免和人接觸。
我外出在街上很少看到有人戴口罩。不過我經常看到超市裡或者車上看到人們戴。戴口罩肯定對疫情防控很有效。
一般對於這種大刀闊斧的變化我是比較批判的，不過在現在的流行病階段中我會支持的。但我感覺這個政策可能不夠而且實施得太晚了。
綜上所述，其實還是有很多人支持戴口罩的，只是可能購買的渠道和防護設施的儲備不足以供給到每個人。所以作為留學生我們能夠得到國內的幫助，收到使館的防護用品還是非常幸運的。
目前，蘇格蘭政府推出了指南建議在密閉公共空間佩戴口罩。昨日，鮑裡斯詹森首相回歸之後，英國也終於不再「頭鐵」，建議民眾在逐漸解封之後佩戴口罩出門減少感染風險。並稱英國疫情已經渡過拐點，下周開始商榷解封事宜。
