Chengdu Ranked Top China's Happiest City for 12 Consecutive Years
2020年11月18日，由《瞭望東方周刊》與瞭望智庫共同主辦的第十四屆中國最具幸福感城市調查推選活動「2020中國幸福城市論壇」發布了「最幸福」榜單。成都再次上榜，第13年榮獲「中國最具幸福感城市」稱號，同時第12次蟬聯最具幸福感城市榜首。在具體幸福度排名中，成都在教育幸福度、醫療健康幸福度、就業幸福度、城市吸引力幸福度上均排名第一。此外，成都還獲得「企業家幸福感最強市」和「公園城市標杆城市」獎項。
On November 18, 2020, co-sponsored by Oriental Outlook and Liaowang Institute, Happy Cities of China Forum 2020 released the 14th Happiest Cities of China List. Chengdu was once again listed, winning the title of "China's Happiest City" for the 13th time, and ranked top for 12 consecutive years. In the categorized happiness rankings, Chengdu ranks top in fields of education, medical and health, employment, and urban attractiveness. In addition, Chengdu won the titles of "Happiest City for Entrepreneurs" and "Benchmark Park City".
Songs Solicitation for Chengdu 2021 FISU WUG Kicks Off
自2020年11月16日起，成都大運會執委會正式啟動第31屆世界大學生夏季運動會歌曲徵集活動，面向全球徵集大運會原創歌曲作品。此次徵集活動將以大運會官網（www.2021chengdu.com）作為首發平臺，面向全球徵集音樂作品，由線上作品徵集、作品評審、全球推廣三個階段組成。最終選出的大運會會歌，將廣泛運用於開閉幕式、大運火炬傳遞、志願服務、大運比賽等眾多場景中，並有機會面向全球推廣。
On November 16th, the Executive Committee of Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games officially launched the global solicitation for original music compositions for the Games. The official website of the Games (www.2021chengdu.com) will be used as the first launch platform to solicit entries from all over the world. It consists of three stages: online entries submission, entries evaluation, and global promotion. The finally selected song will be widely used in multiple scenes such as the opening and closing ceremonies, the torch relay campaign, volunteer services, and competitions at the Games, and it will be granted with the opportunity for global promotion.
The 4th International High-Level Forum on Sustainable Urban Development Kicks off in Chengdu
2020年11月16日，「第四屆國際城市可持續發展高層論壇」和「一帶一路」可持續城市聯盟配套會議在成都世紀城國際會議中心拉開帷幕。本次論壇通過聚焦新形勢下未來城市發展新需求，共同探討城市在經濟增長、社會發展、資源利用及環境保護等方面實現可持續發展的新模式與新路徑，分享全球城市可持續發展的最新理念與最佳實踐，搭建政府、城市、企業之間的交流對接平臺。
On November 16, 2020, the "Fourth International High-level Forum on Sustainable Urban Development" and the "Belt & Road" Sustainable Cities Alliance Supporting Meeting kicked off at Chengdu Century City International Conference Center. By focusing on the needs of future urban development in the current situation, joint discussions will be carried out in the forum on new models and new paths for sustainable urban development in terms of economic growth, social development, resource utilization and environmental protection. Participants will share the latest concepts and practices in global sustainable urban development, and build a platform that bridges governments, cities, and enterprises.
364 Fortune 500 Companies Settle in Sichuan
2020年11月17日，知名跨國公司投資四川座談會成功舉辦，2020年四川新增落戶世界500強企業12家，累計達到364家。其中，境外世界500強新增落戶3家，累計達到250家；英特爾、德州儀器、戴爾、大眾、豐田、寶馬、沃爾瑪、三菱等企業紛紛在四川設立生產基地，西門子、伊藤洋華堂等跨國公司把區域性或功能性總部設在四川，成為推動四川經濟社會高質量發展的重要力量。
On November 17, 2020, the Symposium for Well-known Multinational Corporation Investment in Sichuan was successfully held. In 2020, 12 Fortune 500 companies were newly established in Sichuan, making the total number 364. Among them are three new overseas Fortune 500 companies, which makes the total number of foreign companies 250. A number of companies have set up production bases in Sichuan including Intel, Texas Instruments, Dell, Volkswagen, Toyota, BMW, Wal-Mart, Mitsubishi, etc., and multinational companies such as Siemens and Ito Yokado have set up their regional or functional headquarters in Sichuan, all of which are an important drive for high-quality economic and social development in Sichuan.
Two More HOME Program Bases Set Up in Chengdu
2020年11月17日，中國科學技術協會2020年海智計劃工作會在成都召開。會議圍繞服務科技經濟融合發展，助力打造「科創中國」品牌，對下一步引才引智新特點、新規律展開研討，探索新形勢下海智工作推動區域高質量發展新方式。會上不僅為2020年新聘海智計劃特聘專家頒發了聘書，還舉辦了新都區現代交通產業功能區工作基地和成都國際鐵路港工作基地揭牌儀式，促進科技經濟融合發展。
On November 17, 2020, the China Association for Science and Technology 2020 HOME Program Conference was held in Chengdu. Focusing on the integrated development of technology and economy, the conference aims to help build the brand of "Innovation China". Participants discussed the new characteristics and patterns of attracting talents in the next step, and explored new ways of high-quality regional development achieved through HOME Program in the new situation. At the meeting, letters of appointment were issued for newly-hired HOME special experts in 2020. The opening ceremony of the Modern Transportation Industry Functional Zone Work Base in Xindu District and the Chengdu International Railway Port Work Base to promote the integrated development of technology and economy.
