Once upon a time there was a salty egg yolk, his name was Salty Egg Yolk.
Salty Egg Yolk didn’t want to be bored inside of his house. He wanted to go outside and find some friends to play with.
He walked and walked and then finally ran into a yellow friend.
He said, 「Hello! My name is Salty Egg Yolk. Can we be friends?」
The yellow friend said, 「Sure! But my name is also Salty Egg Yolk. How are both our names the same?」
The first Salty Egg Yolk said, 「Well you can just change your name to Salty Egg Yolk 2!」
From then on, Salty Egg Yolk and Salty Egg Yolk 2 traveled around together.
They walked and walked until they cut through some thick reeds and arrived at the side of a small river.
Next to the small river was sitting another yellow friend.
Salty Egg Yolk and Salty Egg Yolk 2 said, 「Hello! We would like to cross the river. Please, would you know how we could cross the river?」
The yellow friend said, 「I』ve got a small boat here, let me give you two a ride across the river!」
Salty Egg Yolk and Salty Egg Yolk 2 then got inside the boat and quickly got over to the other side of the river.
The yellow friend asked, 「Where are you two heading?」
Salty Egg Yolk replied, 「We are just traveling around.」
The yellow friend then said, 「Can I come along with you two? My name is Salty EggYolk.」
Salty Egg Yolk looking surprised pointed at himself and Salty Egg Yolk 2 and said,「Ah, my name is also Salty Egg Yolk, and this here is Salty Egg Yolk 2. How about you just change your name to Salty Egg Yolk 3!」
From then on, Salty Egg Yolk, Salty Egg Yolk 2, and Salty Egg Yolk 3 traveled around together.
They passed over a hill full of blooming purple wild flowers and arrived at a small village.
Ironically the village was called the Salty Egg Yolk Village!
Here, Salty Egg Yolk, Salty Egg Yolk 2, and Salty Egg Yolk 3 ran into Salty Egg Yolk 4, Salty Egg Yolk 5, Salty Egg Yolk 6… Salty Egg Yolk 100, Salty Egg Yolk 101…and only once they met Salty Egg Yolk 999,999 did they finally finish meetingall the salty egg yolks.
All 999,999 salty egg yolks decided to travel together.
Later on, the humongous group of salty egg yolks traveled along through the mountains like a yellow river.
They walked and walked, and along their path they saw many beautiful sights.
Finally, they came to a mountain top. They were a bit tired and wanted to rest on top of the mountain for a bit.
However,there were too many of them and the top of the mountain was too small. Without noticing many of the salty egg yokes got squeezed off the top of the mountain and started rolling down the mountain.
After a bit, Salty Egg Yolk finally noticed what was happening.
He said, 「If we combine together we can become one massive salty egg yolk, and we won’t take up as much space.」
Salty Egg Yolk and Salty Egg Yolk 2 then combined together and immediately became as lightly bigger salty egg yolk.
Then, they also combined with Salty Egg Yolk 3, Salty Egg Yolk 4, Salty Egg Yolk 5…and all the way up to Salty Egg Yolk 999,999. At that point they became a massive salty egg yolk of in comparable size.
But the massive salty egg yolk still had no way to completely balance on top of the mountain and rest. It continued to rock back and forth on the mountain top ready to fall!
At this point, the highest of the individual salty egg yolks, Salty Egg Yolk 999,999 yelled, 「Everyone look! We can all go up into the sky!」
Thick,soft clouds flowed across the sky like a very comfortable bed.
Following,the salty egg yokes said to the mountain, 「Could you do us a favor? Could you please help us get up into the sky?」
Then,the mountain brimming with energy pushed the massive salty egg yolk up on top of the white clouds.
Ah! So comfortable! The sky is so beautiful!
Finally the salty egg yolks could get a wonderful rest.
As the salty egg yolks slept their bodies shone with a brilliant golden-yellow light.
The earth was now lit up!
The brilliant golden-yellow light shined down on the mountains, the small streams, the villages, and the cities.
It also shined down on a little boy.
A layer of golden-yellow water droplets appeared on the little boy’s forehead.
The little boy wiped off a droplet with his hand and tasted it.
「Mom!Salty, Salty!」
The little boy ran into the house and excitedly told his mother.
「That’s right!」 His mother held him in her arms and wiped the sweat off of his forehead for him.
「The sun is a massive salty egg yolk, so it’s light is salty. As it shines on your body, you also become salty!」
