This is TIm . 這是蒂姆。
One day， after school . 一天， 放學以後
Tim met Sam . 蒂姆遇到了桑姆。
Sam lived in the sea but took a wrong turn and got stuck here.
桑姆住在大海裡但是轉錯了彎並且被困在這了。
He didn't konw his lefts from his rights.
它已經被弄的不知所措了。
The other kids were too busy to notice the big blue whale.
其他的孩子都太忙並沒有注意到這隻大藍鯨。
Sometimes Tim felt no one noticed him either.
有的時候蒂姆同樣覺得沒人注意他。
「 I see you ," said Tim . 」我看到你了。「 蒂姆說。
"I see you too," said Sam. 」我也看到你了「 桑姆說。
They both felt better Konwing they weren't invisible .
他們倆都非常開心--知道有人注意到自己。
Tim went back into the school to get a glass of water for Sam, since whales love their water.
蒂姆回到學校打了杯水給桑母，因為鯨魚最喜歡他們的水。
He didn't care anymore if no one noticed him, because now Sam did.
他沒有在意是不是有人會在乎他了，因為桑姆在乎他。
Tim asked Sam, "Do you want to be my friend?"
蒂姆問桑姆：」 你願做我的朋友嗎？「
And Sam did.
桑姆答應了。
Sam told his friend that he didn't know how to get back home to the sea.
桑姆告訴蒂姆： 它不知道如何回到它的--大海。
Tim promised to help Sam get to the sea.
蒂姆發誓可以幫桑姆返回大海。
」Ｉpinkie-swear."我拉勾發誓「
Tim had to go home but said he would be back tomorrow .
蒂姆必須要回家了，但是他說他明天會回來。
He left Sam two glasses of water,some compay, and kept one light on.
他留給桑姆兩瓶水，一些小夥伴，並且開著一盞燈給桑姆照亮。
At home， Tim couldn't stop thinking about Sam.
回到家， 蒂姆一直在想著桑姆。
It's not every day you meet a friend.
並不是每天你都可以交到一個朋友。
He spent all night planning how to get Sam to the Sea.
他花了整個晚上計劃著怎麼幫桑姆返回大海。
The next day Sam was excited to see his friend again. " you came back!"
第二天桑姆很興奮能夠再見到他的朋友」你回來了！「
"Of course," said Tim. "friends don't let friends down."
"當然」蒂姆說「朋友不會讓朋友失望的。」
Tim showed Sam his plans.
蒂姆給桑姆看了他的計劃。
" We could drive..."
「我們可以開車」
「Or maybe even fly..."
」或是我們甚至可以飛到大海「
"Well, I don't have a car "said Sam, "and I'm a little afraid of heights ."
「額.,我沒有車，」桑姆說，「並且我有一點害怕到很高的地方」
Just when it looked like none of his ideas would work .Tim came across the very last one.
正當這些想法看上去都不湊效的時候....蒂姆想到了最後一個。
It was perfect.
這個主意真是太好了。
Sam held on extra tight.
桑姆抓地超級的緊。
Tim began to pedal
蒂姆開始蹬
but sam didn't move.
但是桑姆沒有移動
Tim didn't give up . 蒂姆沒有放棄。
Sam was his only friend. His best friend.
桑姆是他唯一的朋友，他最好的朋友。
He should not, he could not , he would not let his friend down.
他不該， 不能，他不會讓他的朋友失望。
Tim pedaled harder, and they started to move.
蒂姆更使勁地蹬，這個時候他們開始移動了。
Tim pedaled harder,and soon they were passing buses and cars !
蒂姆更加使勁地蹬，很快他們超過了公車和小汽車！
Tim pedaled harder, and soon they were going too fast to see..
蒂姆更加使勁地蹬，突然他們已經快得無法看得清路
and too fast to stop. 並且快得停不下來。
Crash 碰撞發出的巨響聲。
Tim sank deep into the sea and could not see Sam anywhere.
蒂姆沉到了深海並且四處找不到桑姆。
「I see you "' said Sam. "我看到你了」 桑姆說。
「you came back !" "你回來了！」
「Of course I did ! friends don't let friends down." "當然我會回來！ 朋友不會讓朋友失望的。」
It's not every day you meet a new friend, and it's not every day they meet you .
不是每天你都可以遇到一個新朋友，而且也不是每天你的朋友們會遇見你。
