英譯英訓練：You're still wet behind the ears是什麼意思？
我們學習英語的目的，確切的說，是訓練英語的目的，不在於讓你見到英語能否「說出」它的中文，而在於用它來訓練你見到英語「能不能說」英語，「說出」多少和哪些英語。
這是我們學習所有英語表達的共同目的。你見英語就「說」中文是訓練不到你的英語能力的。畢竟我們要練的不是「說」中文的能力，是「說」英語，「回憶」英語的能力。
比如，你見到英語You're still wet behind the ears時，你能「說出來」的，是英語，還是它的中文？
也就是說，此時你是「用」英語理解這句話，還是翻譯成中文才能「懂」？

一個人「學」英語，連字典，尤其英英字典都懶得查，你說他能學好英語，(魯豫)我不信。除非他能有機會生活在一個經常可以使用英語的環境中取代查英英字典的環節。

If you say that someone is still wet behind the ears, you mean that they have only recently arrived in a new place or job, and are therefore still not experienced.
同樣是表達wet behind the ears，有的字典說inexperienced, 有的字典說naive, immature,有的字典又把inexperience換成 without experience，其實都是一個意思，但是這樣的學習無形中又起到了訓練我們豐富的表達能力的效果。
