Earn 的意思是「賺錢、掙得、獲得、應得和贏得」 是指需要自己通過一系列的工作/努力得到的。例如， earn money掙錢 , earn an income 掙得收入； earn reputation贏得聲譽； earn interest把錢存到銀行，獲得利息； pas as you earn依照入息支付； earn one’s bread 謀生，維持生計； spend more than earn n. 負翁 負翁這個詞來自香港。1997年亞洲金融危機發生，給香港的經濟帶來巨大的災難性後果，經濟長期不景氣，失業率高居不下，房產跳樓，股票套牢。直到2007年才會恢復到1997年危機前的水平。香港，你就別燥了~
好， 我們再說make, 它是指可以通過自己工作得到的錢（工資 salary），也就是說make money 包括earn money 的。 Make money也可以是通過變賣物品得到的錢(盈利profit)。 還可以通過自己投資（investment）得到的錢。
既然說到錢，我們接下來再來學幾個跟錢有關的詞和短語： inherit money繼承錢財，通過逝者捐贈的錢財(receive from someone who is died. ) ; find money尋到錢，經常用過去式found, 找到了錢，表示之前有，現在重新找到了； borrow money 從…借錢（get money from a person a bank）從個人或者從銀行借錢、貸款，例如： I borrowed money from Bank of China to buy a house.我從中國銀行貸款買房。 allowance是指父母或者老公老婆給的零花錢， 這裡就不問你的零花錢是幾塊了，免得傷心。 save /put away money 表示存錢，例如I save money for my son. 我為兒子存錢。 spend money 表示「花錢、消費」 例句：How much did you spend your money in Lijiaqi’s live podcast? 你在李佳琪的直播間花多少錢？ （還是說你在李佳琪的直播間省了多少錢？ 自己衡量吧~ ）
