一，mean 做動詞用，主要表達 「意思是…」
「意指…」 「意味著」 」 「 意欲…」「想要…」在句子

二，mean 做形容詞, 意思是：自私的；小氣
的，卑鄙的；低劣的；低微的，卑賤的，平均
的。來看例子：

3. That's a mean thing to say.那麼說真是
件卑鄙的事情。
4. Be mean with something.捨不得用某物
He is too mean to buy a gift.他太小氣了，

四，mean 的過去分詞 meant 做形容詞。意
思是原本打算的，理應的，預期的，註定的
等意思。來看例子：
