語言中都並不少見
不過看到「use your noodle」
你可知道是什麼意思嗎？
劍橋詞典裡對noodle的解釋中有一條：
the head or brain of a person
所以noodle除了「麵條」
還有「腦子」的意思
use your noodle = 動動腦子
例：
He gave you $10,000? Use your noodle！It's not that easy!
他給你一萬美金？用腦子想想！沒那麼簡單！
You know the answer. Just use your noodle!
你知道答案的，好好動動腦筋！
noodle能表達「腦子」
並引申出了「白痴、傻子」的意思
例：
If a trick is played on you, you are a noodle.
如果你被耍了，那你就是傻子。
再三考慮
例：
You'd better think twice if you're gonna invest so much money in a project you know so little about.
投這麼多錢到一個你不太了解的項目裡，你最好還是三思啊。

認真思考
例：
I've been thinking long and hard about going abroad. I just can't make a decision.
我最近一直都在認真思考要不要出國。我就是沒法做決定。

作決定前認真考慮
例：
I don't think he's the one for you . You need to think it over.
我感覺他不適合你。你需要認真考慮一下。
④ have another think coming
想錯了
例：
If you think you can walk in here and just demand a raise, you've got another think coming.
如果你感覺就這樣走進來，要求加薪的話，那你就想錯了
例：
Don't worry about her, she was rather ill this morning, but now she's full of beans.
別為她擔心，她今天早上病得蠻厲害，但現在已經神採奕奕了。
養家餬口
例：
We have to make a living and bring home the bacon .
我們必須負擔自己的生活，並養家餬口。
奉承，討好
例：
He bought two expensive vases to butter up his boss.他買了兩隻昂貴的花瓶要討好他的老闆。非常冷靜，泰然自若
例：
Though it was his first great venture, he was as cool as a cucumber.
雖然這是他第一次的事業大冒險，卻表現得非常冷靜。
