If you remember from the last article, a vital key into efficient language learning is immersion. Being surrounded by the language you want to learn will help you learn quicker – if you do it correctly. Just because English is there, doesn’t mean you will learn from it. Below are 6 more tips to help you effectively immerse yourself in English in a way that will improve your language ability.
如果你還記得我在上一篇文章中提到的：高效外語學習的一個關鍵就是「沉浸」。每天都和英語「待在一起」能夠讓你學得更快，前提是你得用對方法。並不能因為英文在生活中隨處可見，你就覺得自己天天都在學習英文。下面有6個方法，可以幫助你有效地讓自己「沉浸」到英語中，從而提高你的語言能力。
TV & Movies: Watch English TV shows and movies, of course! Even if you have to use subtitles, try not to read them sometimes. Listen with your EARS, not with your eyes. Either way, you should be able to absorb SOME of the English, even if you read subtitles. Also, if you find a movie or a show you really like, watch it repeatedly. Sometimes with subs and sometimes without, until you can understand almost everything.
看電視：最好的方式當然是看英語電視節目和電影啦！即使你必須藉助字幕才能看懂，也可以試著不全程看它。試著用你的耳朵聽，而不是用眼睛看。無論用哪種方式，即使你看了字幕，都應該把一些英語吸收進大腦裡。另外，如果你發現了一部你非常喜歡的電影或電視節目，那就反覆地去觀看。通過有字幕和無字幕的方式切換著看，直到你能理解幾乎所有播放的內容或者演員們說的話。

Online chat groups and forums (message boards): Have a hobby you like to discuss with people? There is a discussion group online for almost ANYTHING! Find one in English, and enjoy talking about and learning about the thing you love the most. The language will not seem like a big problem when you are interested in the topic.
用英語聊天（聊天群/論壇）：想和大家討論你的愛好嗎？你幾乎可以找到關於任何話題的線上聊天群！隨便找個群聊小組，用英語去討論你最喜歡的事。當你對這個話題感興趣的時候，你所學的這門語言將變得易如反掌。

Language Exchange: There are lots of foreigners who want to study Chinese. Many are at the local college’s international department or online trying to study. Find them! Offer them language exchange, where you two can talk for an hour like friends, but half in Chinese and half in English. This way, both of you are learning, practicing, speaking, listening, and helping each other… for free!
和外國人交流：現在有很多外國人想學習中文。並且大多數都是通過當地大學的國際學院或者網絡平臺來學習。去找找他們！並且告訴他們你想和他們做「語言交換」，找個地方，像朋友一樣聊上1小時。你說中文，他說英語。這樣一來，你們互相都在學習對方的語言，並且互相幫助… 而且還免費！
Operating System (OS) Language: Use computers a lot? Like to use your phone a lot? Change the OS language to English. It might be a bit difficult at first, but the more you use it, the more you』ll start to understand what each of the words mean for each function. Eventually, you』ll use an English OS just as good as the Chinese OS, and learn some new words in the process.
更換作業系統語言：你經常用電腦嗎？你天天都對著手機劃不停嗎？那就去系統設置裡把界面全部切換成英文吧！一開始可能有點難適應，但是隨著你使用的次數越多，你就會慢慢的了解哪個英文單詞對應哪個功能。到最後你就能像使用中文作業系統一樣輕鬆地使用英文作業系統了，並且在這個過程中你還能學到不少新單詞！
手機端更改系統語言
電腦端更改系統語言English dinners: Have a group of friends who are also studying English? Once or twice a week, make an appointment where all of you meet and go to lunch or dinner, but the ENTIRE meal time, just use English! Absolutely no using Chinese (except when ordering food of course). This is fun, because you are with your friends, you can help each other on difficult words or pronunciation, plus you get to eat good food, and there is no pressure from teachers or 「being in school.」
和朋友們在餐桌上用英語聊天: 你有一群也在學習英語的朋友嗎？一周1~2次，把這些朋友都約上，一起吃個午餐或晚餐。但是在整個吃飯過程中，只能用英語交談！絕對不能說中文，（當然，除了點餐之外）。這會非常有趣，因為你們都是朋友，在遇到比較難的單詞不會說，或者不會發音時可以互相幫助，再加上一桌好吃的，這就是一個沒有「學習壓力」的課堂。
English Corner: There are lots of these at many different places, so no need to get into this. If you want to go and practice, find one and go! Sure, these are mostly Chinese, but many times, there are overseas Chinese with excellent English, and some English is better than none, isn’t it? You can meet some interesting people and learn a lot of things from English Corners.
參加英語角：英語角幾乎不需要你特地去找就能找得到。如果你想有一個英語交流的環境，英語角是個不錯的選擇。當然，在這裡面大多數都是中國人，但有些時候也會有一些英語說得很棒的海外華人，有這個環境總比沒有好，不是嗎？在英語角中，你會遇到許多有趣的人，說不定還能在你參加英語角時學到許多之前從沒學過的知識。
