視頻又卡了；電話信號卡頓了；話說一半，大腦「卡殼」了……
中文裡的各種"卡"，用英文怎麼說呢？
今天來聊聊常見的幾種「卡」。
1. 網絡信號差，卡住了：
lag
to move or develop slowly or more slowly than other people, organizations, etc.The Internet is lagging again. It is trash!
網又卡住了！真是垃圾！
2. 視頻畫面「卡」了：
freeze
牛津詞典解釋為：
when a computer screen freezes , you cannot move any of the images, etc.on it, because there is a problem with the system （屏幕）凍結
Thepictures freeze again!
視頻又卡住了!
My computer is frozen!
我的電腦死機了。
freeze常見的意思還包括：
to become hard, and often turnto ice, as a result of extreme cold; to make sth do this （使）凍結，結冰
Waterfreezes at 0°C.
水在0攝氏度時結冰。
這樣一想，視頻畫面卡住不動，就像被凍住了一樣，多生動呀。
3. 聊天聊到一半，「卡」住了：
這個再細分下情況：a.話到嘴邊突然忘了；b. 因為緊張或者口吃卡住了;
a.話到嘴邊突然忘了
It's onthe tip of my tongue!
直譯的意思是：在我的舌尖上，實際是要表達：話在嘴邊，但一下子想不起來。
The name will come to me soon, it's onthe tip of my tongue… ah yes, his name is Jack. （我馬上就要想起來他的名字了，已經到嘴邊上了，對，他叫Jack。)
I'm at aloss for words!
我忘詞了。
b. 因為緊張或者口吃卡住了
stutter
牛津詞典解釋為：
to havedifficulty speaking because you cannot stop yourself from repeating the firstsound of some words several times 口吃；結結巴巴地說
I wastrembling so hard, I thought I would stutter when I spoke.
我那時抖得很厲害，我覺得說話時都會結結巴巴。
4. 太堵了，「卡」在路上：
stuck
牛津詞典解釋為：
unable to move or to be moved 動不了；無法移動；卡住；陷住
I often get stuck on the way.
我經常被堵在路上。
She got the key stuck in the lock.
她把鑰匙卡在鎖裡了。
