最近又看了遍《星際穿越》，對片中老教授Brand一直在誦讀的這首Dylan Thomas的詩歌Do not go gentle into that good night印象特別深刻。Dylan Thomas是20世紀的英國的重要詩人，其詩歌的多是以愛，生死，欲望為主題。這首詩歌在電影中被引述時，Brand教授一直將自己多年來的秘密隱藏在心中，希望通過他的計劃保全人來的火種，同時也是保護自己所愛的女兒的未來。Do not go gentle into that good night 不但恰好的表現出了老教授不畏懼背負萬千罵名，為人來的未來燃燒自己，也表達了自己的女兒深深的父愛。他就像詩歌中的Wild men who caught and sang the sun inflight.
