▲辨析：stare, gaze, glare
Stare 特別表示「睜大眼睛凝視」，並含有「驚奇」、「傲慢」 或「茫然」的意思。
The child stared the stranger up and down.
那孩子上下打量著這個陌生人。
Glare 表示「兇狠而且帶有威脅性的瞪眼睛」的意思。

Gaze表示「目不轉睛地看」，並含有「驚嘆」、「羨慕」或「入迷」的意思。

shroud在這裡是動詞，表示「覆蓋」。
Petal是花瓣的意思。
Reminisce v.追憶；緬懷
Be framed表示「被陷害」。例如：
He said he was framed by his ex-wife.
他說他受到了前妻的誣陷。
Frame在歌詞中是框的意思。畫框-picture frame；相框-photo frame。
最後我們來講一下歌名「青花瓷」。
我們知道青花瓷的顏色是藍色和白色，所以青花瓷叫做blue-and-white porcelian。
詞彙拓展：black-and-blue
這個詞直接翻譯過來就是黑色和藍色，在英文中表示就是「鼻青臉腫」的意思了：Sandy, your face is all black-and-blue. What on earth happened to you? Why are you wearing sunglasses?
