我愣了半天，才明白同事的意思，但「手機震動」英語千萬用shake！
shake是指幅度比較大的晃動
比如：
shake hands(with someone) (和某人）握手
shake your head搖頭
但「手機震動」英語可不能用shake!

1 「手機震動」的英文表達
buzz
buzz本來是形容蜜蜂嗡嗡的聲，日常生活中用來表示「 手機震動 」。
在《老友記》中有這樣的場景：
A: Dad your phone' been buzzing like crazy.
老爸，你手機震個不停。
B：19 missed calls? I wonder who's calling.
19個未接來電？我想知道誰打的。
再舉例子：
Your phone’s been buzzing like crazy.
你的手機一直在瘋狂震動。
My phone is buzzing .maybe it’s my roommate texting me.
我手機在震動，可能是室友給我發信息了。
vibrate
①His phone kept vibrating during the meeting.
開會的時候他的手機震個不停。
②Your phone is vibrating. You may wanna pick it up.
你手機在震耶，要不要接一下。
2 手機調「震動模式」怎麼說？
①turn my phone on vibrate
②put my phone on vibrate
Remember leave your phone on vibrate in the cinema.
記得電影院裡把手機調成震動。

演出快開始了——我會把手機設置到震動。
3 手機在響（有鈴聲）英文怎麼表達？
如果說：「手機真的在響」，帶鈴聲的那種，可以直接用「ring」就好了。
①The phone starts to ring.
手機開始響了
②She answered her phone on the first ring.
手機剛一響，她就接了。
4 手機調「靜音」怎麼說？
當你在上課或者在開會的時候，我們的手機需要調成「靜音模式」，靜音可以用「mute」。
①Put the phone on mute
②Set the phone to mute
It's polite to set your phone to mute or turn it off when you are on a meeting.
當你在開會的時候，把手機調成靜音或者關機是比較禮貌的行為。
