Man body slammed on head over parking spot in Hangzhou

A man is in hospital after he was body slammed in an altercation over a parking space, causing him to suffer a seizure.

Police in Hangzhou have taken the suspect surnamed Zhang, 37, into custody after the Friday night attack in the Binjiang district apartment block. 

Surveillance footage shows the victim surnamed Wu arguing with Zhang and his wife near the disputed parking space. 

"They said they had two SUVs, and had moved the first one to make room for the other," said Wu from his hospital bed. "I didn't know I had taken their space."

Wu, 27, is seen entering a verbal argument over the spot when the suspect's wife runs from off camera and pushes Wu.

The video shows Zhang trying to separate his wife from Wu while telling his child to keep away. 

Zhang then slams Wu on the concrete in a suplex move. Moments later, Wu begins going into convulsions, video shows.

A security guard called police. Zhang is being held on assault charges.
